Heroes 2 GOG optimizing sound and resolution
When playing the H2 gog version I get tiny little delays when picking up resources. But it's enough of a delay to make the whole game less enjoyable because everything takes longer.
I also get a really small window, because it adjusts to my laptops resolution. I would rather have the game stretched to fill out my entire screen.
I tried changing things in the dosbox config, but that didn't do anything. That leaves me clueless about how to change it.

You can try to use homm2 wrapper to run game under Windows, not DOS.

Thanks, that worked. I had to edit the config.ini to make the hotkeys work.

All spunds are in agg files. You can find them and extract it for example using Resedit2. Next you must convert to mp3 if you want play like other songs.

That why intros and anounces must be super b: it is a part the of a game. I mean: like chaptor part book, so intro or endless discus about part of game. Game in imitacion.

I agree your all good intensions. I think too (once year).
Anyway i wanted not only jenre butt also some songs, so i boght microfone! (Actualy no. I boght it for skype, but... when Misrosoft devour skype, i began using mega.co.uk.nz.de.org.ee - better and safer file exchange system.) So when i shall fail with profesional sounds, i always may try write my own sound. My best was when i wrotte song on fotoaparatus when song whick i mocked played on telephone fly. And foto was Fujitsufilm!!!!!!!
Maybe some day i shall tell story how i sinked my phone in swamp or in paint. And some people saying about nokia 1130!
I riped sound with good programm "1956 to 1991 converter by balder's gate" and got BLOODLUS.82M.VAW. In fact, i are old, and my memory... in olden tymes grass were greener and trees were bigger, and computars... they were even bigger than trees! So i a litle disapointed: sound sounds a little littler awesomer than i supposed.

And. I no agree that Heroes is for russians. Many (3-5) ears ago i rode that one russian company of convives created mod for Heroes 3. Englishmans and americos englishmans on forum sayd "cool, thank you sidekicks!" etc, but rusians... sayd something like "when you shall publish updates, basterds?! when you shall fix this and that!?! how dare you be so retarded brakes!!????" etc. Which means that Heroes for cultur people who can wrote "snow" right and no be rude - IE englishmans or maybe turkeyshmans (gogol promps "turks").
Sorry i bad with irrelular werbs or another words. I'm confusing "wrotten" and "written" and i rode that "written" means something which was writed, not that i wrote something!!!!! 
I thoght that if something was writed it must be "writing thing", thing for write - "write thing" etc.

Ive told about his english not to joke but to try understand his intention. English is hard for Russians and Ukrainians because they have another letters. They must first learn letters to start learn english! For Poles its easy language because polish is most complicated language in the world so if you speak polish all other is easy.
Learnig foreign langugaes is not mine role in the world :0))) I only learn in school and never spoke with natives in their countries. In work too. Only internet text is second school. So if you understand its enough.

I got HoMM2 Gold from GOG, and I have accidentally deleted the shortcut (it's not in Recycle Bin anymore, btw). Can someone give me the specific address for it?
(Sorry for being off-topic, but I didn't find any HoMM2 thread)

Oh, I did that a long time ago, but I always had a special shortcut made to run HoMM2 Gold (it had something else other than the file location in it). Without it, I can't play it fullscreen, that's why I asked (also, launching it from .exe and not DosBox or shortcut doesn't work, and DosBOx can't seem to do fullscreen as well as shortcut).
