Unused spell specialties?

Does anyone know of any unused spell specialties in Heroes 3?
I have tried with Curse and Misfortune, but sadly they does'nt seem to work.
Does Slow, Mirth or Sorrow or any other unused spell specialties work?

Because specialty with Mirth, Sorrow or Misfortune is pointless
Specialty means %% percentage bonus to spell.
So for example:
Basic sorrow reduces enemy troop's morale by 1.
Specialty? Reduces by 1 + 5% of 1 = reduces enemy troop's morale by 1.05 points. Ok, you can round out to 2. So, it's avanced Sorrow. The same mechanism will be applied to Mirth, Misfortune and some other spells.

Well Fortune specialty exists and it always gives +3, so the same could be true for Mirth, Misfortune and Sorrow, if they exist that is.

I’ve posted something about Hero specialties a long time ago in the how to edit Hota thread. It deals with all existing cases. I haven’t got a link to that post at hand, but it should be somewhere within the first 20 pages of that thread I guess.

Edit: found it here.

Thanks Maurice.
While that is a really informative post, it only deals with already used spell specialties, I was wondering if there were some hidden unused spell specialties?
For example HotA added Air Shield, Clone and Forgetfulness specialty, I assume Clone and Forgetfulness did'nt exist before HotA, as they follow two up until now unused formulas. Air Shield is the 3% per level/tier one and it could have worked before HotA.

While I don't know the HotA specialties (I didn't perform an autopsy on their code, so to speak ), I do know that in H3 SoD, the game code filters based on spell ID. It has a bunch of spells, as detailed in the post I linked, that it treats in a specific way, and every other spell drops through to the catch-all formula I posted towards the end of the post.

So unless HotA made changes to a specific spell specialty, any spell not handled in a specific way will follow that general formula to determine its increased effect due to specialty.
