Template recommendation for 2p and 4p casual games
Hi!
I used to play HoMM3 casually when it first got released. Now I'm planning to pick it up again with the same friends I played back in the day. I did have a question tho. Watching some online games it seems that templates like JC are very popular. Now my question is, what is a good template to pick if you want more nooby casual play? What I mean with that is more focus on upgrading your town to get creatures and not so heavily relying on creature dwellings / hives / pickets etc.
Any recommendations are welcom!
ps: I have HD mod and HotA installed.

For casual players template is irrevelant. In every template you can focus on upgrading town if your opponent will allow you to do it.

I enjoy playing Spider/Nostalgia XL+U random cards with friends either against AI or PvP. You can try those out.

I heard that Jebus Cross is good in your case.

Not really no. Jebus Cross is very dwelling based. And I understand you can basically play any template the way you want but some templates clearly are made to be played in a certain style. Like Jebus Cross. Just looking for a template that's not so dwelling based. Barbuta's recommendations are pretty good. Played a couple of games on Nostalgia and I liked it.

You can also try Clash of Dragons if you like a longer game with creating op heroes. It is 1v1 though

I don't think template is irrelevant. I've been playing for some time now, and my friend and I used to win on one step down from max difficulty(160%?), and now we can't win at all. Is there a template that's winnable for non-Lexiav level players?
