He should have done this long time ago, probably the paycheck was impressive. He is too smart to keep up with the retarded talk that show puts on every day.
Plenty of retarded talks on the show but makes you wonder what he was doing on it for 6 years if you think he's such a smart guy. He has gotten himself into a lot of trollish interviews over the years. He can dish it out but apparently he can't take it. Reminds me of this:

If there's only one eventuality to come from this snowshow, it's that Piers Morgan will still find another avenue to spew forth whatever's on his mind, regardless of whether or the message has any substance. He still has his regular column in the Daily Cockroach Milk to hang on to. The only way to get fired from there is to underdeliver on the vapid celebrity clickbait quota.
The thing with morning shows is that there is always a divisive figure such as Morgan to bring in those all-important ratings the networks so desperately crave. Both of Australia's early morning shows (because we tried having a third one but that flopped big time) have one.
