Giving women access to an abortion in the early stages isn't enough, they must also have zero peer pressure so they can make a clear decision in time. Many of them takes longer to get one because they're scared of the pro lifers.
I can't give birth to a child and yet, all I do is say I believe they should have access to an abortion in the early stages and some of them looks at me like they're just one step away from attempting to bash my face in. A sizeable amount of these pro lifers are just plain nuts in the head.

But there is no need to restart the debate from scratch with every woman that becomes pregnant.
it's not good because that pressure often makes the difference between getting an abortion early and getting an abortion in the later stages. It's a legal loophole where women are pressured to keep it in the early stages just to gain some time and then later we just tell them "yeah ok it's too late now"
