Poll Question: Best Nature 1lvl spells
I thought a few times, that we haven't the best and worst spells, skills, artifacts, towns, creatures and heroes, etc I took Phoenix4ever's example, he's legendary and veterean H3 player, esp. HotA. We can say thanks him. Now we collect stats, what's the best and worst in H4. Then talk about it, why, etc Ok first matter why Nature 1lvl spells, no 1-5lvl or all spells? I tried the same, but we find many good H4 spells than H3.. So you know 10 names must be filled in poll is a very little, all spells can't to fit a poll, but we get a real theory, analysis and stats than H3.

You don't find Summon Imps, because it's Summon Demon spell.
EDIT II
You will find a more difficult choice. Nature is Nature.

Summon leprechauns is broken. You get level 2 spell of fortune with extra minions, and that's on level 1!

I wouldn't say summon leprechaun is amazing without mods, since level 1 nature summons are so terrible in terms of numbers. But fortune is a good effect, and fortune + chump blocker/retaliate stealer is decent value; and decent value is more than can be said for the rest of the options here. Only possible runners up are speed and stoneskin, both being merely okay.

Ok I can't vote the best, when my Nature 1lvl spell rankings are
1.-5. Pathfinding, Speed, Summon Sprite, Summon Wolf & Summon Leprechaun
6.-7. Stoneskin & Terrain Walk
Why? I noticed that beginning game hero or troops need Pathfinding, and normal fight/battle/combat I used Summon Sprite, Wolf and Leprechaun often, when Hit & Run I used Sprites against Zombies, for example, and then hero gets Speed. I cast Wolves, when other troops can strike without.. also good Leprechauns can use to protect hero and troops, so I don't need Stoneskin, when protected hero.. Don't get a wrong me! All Nature 1lvl spells are good, but what I used more spell tactics are Pathfinding, Speed, Summon Sprite, Wolf and Leprechaun.
Debate belonged to Terrain Walk, when heroes became stronger against Leprechauns, so heroes can cast a Poison, Speed and Terrain Walk on the Swamp, for example. I only give an easy understand about all Heroes 4, and I'm always playing with troops, no many heroes with, thus I found chemistry or what Campaign meant. So I think other found about Haven Campaign in H4 Standard, etc Ok, remember this is poll gives stats to us, and we can explore, but we can find out in higher Nature spells. Now's Nature 1lvl, then Best Order 1lvl spells, etc Ok patients..

Of the Summoning spells, all three have their uses, Sprites having high movement and NO retaliation, Leprechauns can cast a spell and Wolves have high Speed and can STEAL a retaliation.
You need at least ONE of those, and I'd generally prefer Wolves due to the retaliation stealing and high speed plus the fact that some advanced classes fuel that spell)
Pathfinding is great because you can traverse Swamp, Snow, Sand without movement penalty, casting it. Of course it depends on the MAP.
Then there is Terrain Walk and Speed. Terrain Walk would be a spell only for Wolves, Tigers and Unicorns, respectively (Satyrs, and Earth Elementals as well, but but but) and only on adverse combat terrain, while Speed can be used on anyone, so clearly Speed is preferable, since it also raises, well, Speed.
Leaving Stone Skin, which is good (and I'd take it rather than a second Summoning spell or Terrain Walk), and which I would prefer when the map didn't have a lot adverse terrain.
So, Summon Wolves(preferred)/Sprites/Leprechauns, Speed and either Stone Skin or Pathfinding, depending on the map.
