Poll Question:
Best Life 1lvl spells

I thought a few times, that we haven't the best and worst spells, skills, artifacts, towns, creatures and heroes, etc I took Phoenix4ever's example, he's legendary and veterean H3 player, esp. HotA. We can say thanks him. Now we collect stats, what's the best and worst in H4. Then talk about it, why, etc Ok first matter why Life 1lvl spells, no 1-5lvl or all spells? I tried the same, but we find many good H4 spells than H3.. So you know 10 names must be filled in poll is a very little, all spells can't to fit a poll, but we get a real theory, analysis and stats than H3.

The correct answer to this question is probably exorcism, but the amount of cheese value you can get with a hero with bind wound is pretty nuts. Early game bind wound spam puts in so much work.

If there is a correct answer it is no doubt Summon Boat. You can deal with battles in a lot of ways but when you need a boat on a specific location where there is none, you only have one solution. I remember to play a fantastic map (sometime within the XX century) where I was playing Death and had to hire a priest, from a town where I had the spell, and send him by caravan to the nearest one (weeks) to finally reach a player's area...

Ok I can't vote the best, when my Life 1lvl spell rankings are

1.-5. Bind Wound, Bless, Exorcism, Spiritual Armor & Summon Ship
6. Holy Word

Why? I noticed that beginning game hero or troops need Bind Wound, Bless and Spiritual Armor against Crossbowmen, for example, and normal fight/battle/combat I used Bless and Spiritual Armor often, so I cast Holy Word against Imps, no Skeletons. Don't get a wrong me! All Life 1lvl spells are good, but what I used more spell tactics are Bind Wound, Bless, Exorcism, Spiritual Armor and Summon Ship.

Debate belonged to Summon Ship, when Kozuss went to Jungles, where are Summon Ship from Oracle. We've a YouTube shows Heroes 4 the best spells, some unknown guy thinks Summon Ship is worthless. Remember this is poll gives stats to us, and we can explore, but we can find out in higher Life spells, when Heal and/or Heavenly Shield are better than Bind Wound. Now's Life 1lvl, then Best Nature 1lvl spells, etc Ok patients..

Summon Ship MAY be rather good, depending on the map. You either want it or you don't. If you don't know the map, you'll probably rather want it.

Bind Wounds is a spell to save the life of Heroes early on. It CAN save the odd troop (higher than L1), but Heal is the better spell at L2, obviously, plus, there is a chance to get Mass Heal as well.

Spiritual Armor will also save lives (which is true for the heroes as well. There is also a Mass version.

Bless doesn't gain much for Life, I think. It does increase the damage you do, though, but there is also a Mass version.

Holy Word is another situational spell. Great against Death stacks, useless against the rest - a common theme with Life spells considering the Ward spells.

Leaving Exorcism which is also highly situational.

So with Life I'd take Spiritual Armor, since it ISN'T situational, Summon Ship because it's a real game changer IF you can use it and any of the others in the hope that there'd be a use for it.
