Interesting theories and questions
Good day and evening! I created this section here because I've been thinking a lot about the world of Ashan. I have some interesting theories, observations and questions. I'm curious about other people's opinions, what do you think about these. I hope one day we will get answers from the creators or writers themselves.
I would like to note that these are just my theories and questions and if I am wrong about something or there is already an answer to it, then please write it down for me. And one more thing. These are not meant to be funny, silly or ridiculous things. I look answers seriously. Alright, let's get started.
Most of them will be related to Heroes V.
Grawl = Lorhish?
These two characters are very similar. The spikes in their shoulders, both the great lovers and saints of the Cerberus, and their helmets are pretty much the same.
Are Veyer and Nebiros brothers?
As written in the story, they are extremely similar, and their icon is also the same, only in the 6th part it is a little different.
Could Nymus have been a more important villain?
Several concept arts have been made of Nymus, where he looks like a major villain, and even fights against Isabel in one of them. Do you think his potential was wasted and could he have been a better or more important villain?
What happened to Veyer?
It is certain that Veyer did not die, as Raelag and Isabel killed an archdevil instead. This is also reinforced by the fact that the scenario in Hammers of Fate highlights that his story takes place after everyone believes the demon sovereign is dead and wants to take his place. Now, after he learns the ultimate gatling and goes through the magic portal, we don't know what happened to him, because he doesn't show up anymore. The text of the campaign states that he must be banish. Banishing doesn't necessarily mean dying. However, in Heroes Kingdoms, which takes place after Dark Messiah, continuing one of the bad endings, Orlando does not return like the other demons.

Ranleth does fight Zehir, but after the fight it is not revealed what happened to her.

Everyone calls Arantir a necromancer, but in Dark Messiah it is said that he does not sleep at all, and his skin is also very white and pale. Could he be a lich?
Was there slavery against orcs in the Griffin Empire before Biara came to power?
According to the story, in the Holy Falcon Empire, the orcs were slaves, but in the Griffin Empire, there is little mention of this, and Ivan himself maintained a good relationship with them. An interesting theory. This happens after demons start appearing on the farms and attack Alaric, Freyda and Laszlo. This is reinforced by the fact that Fredy declares that they kill and destroy without evidence, and she also says the magic word, imagined. Was Lorenzo a demon?
Many characters (according to official information, sources and game-provided info and stuff) are extremely long-lived. Among them is Lorenzo, who already fought during the Falcon empire and was also a member of the Red Church, the difference between the two is hundreds of years. Now, I don't think immortality is a stupid answer, it actually explains a few things (there were also immortals in Enroth). However, there are two important things. One is that Lorenzo was able to use demonic magic and even summon demons. The other is that the demons were able to take on the form of others with illusions and magic. There is, for example, Biara, who assumed the body of Isabel, or Grok, who assumed the body of Valeria, and the real one was in prison. Now, Lorenzo just died before the demonic illusion is removed, so it is conceivable that he could have been a demon as well.
What happened to Benedikt?
Benedikt would have been Alaric's most fanatical follower, one of the most important knights of the Red Chruch. However, he does not appear in any campaign nor has he been given a role in the story. What do you think, why this happened?

Ubisoft based their designs on Olivier Ledroit's artwork. He had drawn a lot of stuff, most of which served as a base somewhere. Not necessarily whole, some pieces here, some there. So.. I don't think it was about Nymus in particular.
What happened to Veyer?
Only guys like Marzhin or Erwan would know. Marzhin had hinted there was some story to be told about the inferno sin overlords or whatever they are called.

I do not recall if it is ever mentioned when he rose to power, lichdom can take a while. But Dark Messiah was made close to H5 where liches were skeletal but afterwards the creative direction said that liches cannot be skeletal in Ashan. Heh.

I suspect so yes.

Once a loyal captain of the Griffin Empire, Laszlo's desire for glory was twisted by Biara over a period of a few years. Warping his love for battle into a lust for blood and his search for adulation into a need to be recognised by her and her alone, Biara now has total control over Laszlo's motivations. He is no longer a tough but respected leader of soldiers, but a cruel and demanding officer who views even his own troops as fodder.
What happened Laszlo before his death?
Didn't Freyda just smite him with Elrath's help?
Did the members of the Red Church see the people as demons?
I mean.. the inquisition has historically been known to torture and burn innocents in their quest to find the guilty.
What happened to Benedikt?
The writers forgot about him xD
