Real pictures of food we heroes eat
Okay so really I'm just going to post pictures of meals I make for the most part but if you want to post take out or restaurant food feel free and Feel free to post however you want but I'm gonna mention a brief explanation what I used to make this and of course what it is.
This is not ideal that I got all of this pretty much, from the freezer section of an American grocery store.
1: General tso chicken crumbles. The other brand in more obvious section is like twice as much and is precooked nugs. $1.50 per serving
2: Vegetable fried rice with added stir fry vegetables and egg. About $2.00 per serving
3: pot stickers. Small portion. Price maybe $1.00
Ultimately I have no room for desert. I'll be hitting up brownies and ice cream in about 3 hours.
I have a goal to start making something new almost every week.

Polish "kopytka" - translation would be "hoovlets" 
Buckwheat in champignons sauce and grated carrot and apple
Rice with broccoli with olive and garlic on it and tomatoes
fried onion with a bit of salt and pepper and bread
Tortilla (wraps, courgette, onion, tomatoes from can, tomato puree, corn, red beans, pickled cucumbers, red pepper, garlic, turmeric, sweat, hot and black pepper powder, chili, salt)

Thanks phe! I never seen unusual Polish foods, but I know Polish pasta with strawberry, in there a popular dish for children and adults. I also know how Polish food was born! Food shortage and poor people, I don't know the year. Ok they invented different solution, and you got a Polish food culture. And you won the hunger!

Dang phe it all looks healthy and tasty
So while km afraid of population control measures I am eating this questionable food I may not have to cook for along time now. This homeless shelter gets extremely good food. They have a budget of $200,000!! But the majority of the residents are to hopped up on chemicals so they refuse the meals. The meals then get tossed into a freezer. Crazy. It's gourmet catered food and I pretty much have unlimited meals.
All I have to do is get an oven safe cooking dish because I don't like microwave.

Fries with tomatoes and onion with salt, black pepper, olive; also like fries with spinach and garlic...
soya chops(from defatted soya flour), buckwheat, Cucumbers in brine (sour cucumbers); (alternatives: tomatoes with salt, black pepper and olive or grated carrot with apple )
soya chops are also good for breakfast, launch, party snacks and trips as sandwiches just with bread but even better also with these cucumbers or tomatoes
exquisite salad to fries and soya chops with potatoes made of sour cabbage(rinse it good), grated carrots, onion, salt, black pepper, olive...when made give it couple of hours or a night in fridge to be real good...
Vegan pizza: dough made of flour, yeast, cane sugar, sunflower oil and water; sauce of tomato puree, water, garlic, salt, oregano, basil; topping of
champignons, tomatoes from can, onion, olives, pepper, vegan mozarella

I am literally going to pick some of yalls plates and try to make them. I'm trying to learn things in the kitchen.
So here's the thing. We use steak to make beef stew is it still beef stew then? I think we call it that because "steak stew" doesn't have a ring to it.
Here is my first run at "beef stew"
B very expensive pot let me tell you, considering not many people are here to share with.

To your question above, steak is about the way you cook the beef, beef is the type of meat. So if you have beef, you either cook it as beef steak (this even moved into Turkish as "biftek") or beef stew. You cant have steak stew. The beef becomes either a steak or a stew.

Scambled tofu - 250g tofu, pepper(yellow looks better), onion, tomato (optional), salt, black pepper, curry or turmeric
toasts (raw onion, fried champignions, bit oil, salt and majoram inside) and pizza sauce (tomato puree, basil, oregano, garlic, salt) as dip; tasty and quick pizza alternative developed accidently when there was ketchup shortage

Best from the thread so far. Looks quite similar to moose I had one time in conscription service, which has been the best thing I've ever tasted in my life, that I dream of some day eating again. (It was the meal for higher-ups that normal conscripts don't usually get )
