Poll Question:
Maximum Tier for Creatures in Starting Army of Hero Poll

I vote 4, like Bron and Illor from HotA, because Vokial with vampires, Sorsha with swordsmen, and Theodorus with magi would be really cool.

Responses:
3 (standard H3)
4 (Bron only in RoE)
5 (H5, not sure if it's limit)
6 (none AFAIK)
7 (none AFAIK)

I think level 6 would be totally fine.

In Hota there's already Jeremy specializing in Cannon, which is considered a level 6 unit. And Ballista has always been considered as a level 5. But you probably meant for a normal, walking/flying creature anyway.

For some towns, it could be advised to only give 1 unit only, but for others, I think 1-2 could be totally fine. Yog starting with 2 Cyclops could offer yet another way of how Stronghold should be played, could be really fun actually.

Level 7's I consider way too strong for normal games. Most of the creatures could handle pretty much anything that the game can throw you at the early stages of the game, even if given only a stack of 1. For example, IIRC, a single Angel with 0 att/def bonus and no spells can deal with Churchyard with 90 Zombies.
