Did the analytics. Used every official Kings game dating back to the start of 2021. The game is remarkably well balanced, other than Might. Might is noticeably worse off in terms of win and pick rate.
Interesting results, I didn't expect to be this balanced. (Other than Might).
Yea I don't know what the deal is with Might though. Making some of their buildings cheaper would be a good and fair buff to give them. The breeding pen comes to mind, maybe make it around 6,500 gold like with the creature portal, university, seminary. Bit less wood and ore cost too. Seems reasonable.

What happens is that people exploit Chaos to have 1 stack of bandits pickpocket the map.
This strategy is micro and action intensive, unintuitive and un-heroeslike. It doesn't require particular skill nor is it really fun but has big payouts with no investment or risk. I blame this on map design as well as game design.
But yeah on those custom maps those are the things.
My analysis on Stronghold was already that they were the weakest when I did Greatest Mod like back in 2016, thus I replaced them with Inferno.
Complete lack of magic, creatures without interesting abilities and worst of all, berserkers that being level 1 only kill themselves. At least I fixed that. I don't think Stronghold is the weakest town in Ultimate any more, or at least not by such a significant margin.
PS: I have found another reason for the weakness of Stronghold. Level 2 creature buildings such as Harpies and Nomads require Citadel and Caravan respectively. These are very expensive buildings.

Yes you definitely want to make sure to get a couple lvls of combat right away with your barb heroes, and be tanking for your berserkers. With centaurs and harpy/nomad supporting.
What you can do is put them at the back of a 3-3-1 formation so you can get ahead of them, to better protect.
Don't want those berserkers running in alone and dying stupidly. If you do, you are playing might early game wrong.
So I see you made centaurs the ones that are berserker. Hmmm. I get the idea but I'm worried about them just staying back too much and getting nothing but some crappy 1/2 damage short ranged shots. Just seems lame and a bad use for them. Normally your centaurs are stomping up right behind your barbarians, and looking for full damage on their short shots, while not caring if they get caught up in melee.

The right tactics are required! An example Barbarian hero with host Berserkers beat the dozens Faerie Dragons without loss in MWM2 (Return to the Avenger..*), so Faerie Dragons are more stupid But skill requires fame tactics** as H3 in general.. Not GM.. I've a fun in MWM2, because I made every miracles, but I don't think that all players can see patterns.. Sense! Mantises are more brain, Thunderbirds are "Dark Champions", if wrong tactics.. Ok 500 Berserkers go to sell in quest's hut for refund.. Not Stronghold is so poor rather players don't know or see things.. Remember using an easy without fame tactics.. So your MODs..

I totally see your point Nimo, but thanks for H4 Ultimate almost every faction has some kind of reach of "Invinsible creatures".
Chaos has rouges plus goblin knights, Order has halflings, Nature has elves.
So it is more balanced I think, because more faction has it.
I know that Life and Necro dont have one, but it doesnt need too. They already powerful to begin with ( thus adding they got buffed, especially Life)
About Might, they are quite powerful faction. It always had a hard start, no magic etc.. But their heroes are more powerful even at lvl 1, and easily got MR at low lvl. So it shouldnt afraid against casters. Their strenght relies on creature growth (wich is quite good). Not to mention Breeding Pens ( 50%!!! Plus growth) or Nobility. And also learning Tactics is a no brainer for them.
At the end game, they could perform really well, but it could goes to other way around, if the enemy has hipnotise or Berserk, then you are screwed.
In H4 Ultimate, they got buffed, so it is a quite balanced faction right now. Even tho, if they learn any magic, they actually need enemy factions castles tp actually learn some spells. They are conquerers, arent they?
Edit: Almost forgot to mention Magic Dampeners, that give + 10% MR by every town you own, thats quite good isnt it?
