I don’t have to watch Russian TV 10 hours a day, as Orzi writes about - I see all this theater of the absurd here.

Ok I hope the USA finds a solution! The world needs the peace! Israel is wonderful country, but problem with Palestine, esp. Hamas, Iran.. When the problem must be eliminated.. Even if undesirable to Israel.. I think the best two-state solution.. We don't care who is disagreement..

Russia and Israel aren't the same though. Israel has an operating democracy, at least for now, so there's a chance he'll be removed at some point, although I am told that Netanyahu could prevent elections until 2026. I don't know how the rules work over there, but that is a long time while a hot war is going on. The other thing is, unlike most other countries, a lot of the people who emigrate and become Israeli are quite conservative, and those are all future voters.

"Prevent elections" makes it sound worse than it is. The last elections were in 2022, so by law the next ones will be in 2026. Unless the coalition falls apart before that. Which is the more frequent case in Israel. This time, however, all the parties in the government know that if they fall apart and cause elections to be held today, they will take a SERIOUS blow in the voting booths. Honestly, with the amount of tension between the ruling parties, that fear is probably the only thing that keeps the coalition together.

Netanyahu is a bad PM imo but in fairness the thing I see most Israelis talking about on the internet is how mad they are about the hostages, both the ones who are still held and the ones who were recently executed a couple weeks ago, and I really have no clue what it is he or any other person is suppose to do about that. I guess try to swap more prisoners at really huge ratios in Hamas' favor and see if they'll accept. I feel like the PM would be unpopular right now no matter who it is.

Correct on all accounts.
Netanyahu's position is worsened even further because he wasn't especially popular before the war either, with many months of large scale demonstration rocking the country.
And also, he was the PM when October 7th - the biggest massacre since Israel's foundation, happened. We're nearly a year into the war and the hostages are still there and Hamas still exists. So yeah, no matter how you look at it, He shouldn't be popular now... except he nurtured a large population of blind followers over the years, so in all honesty, I don't know how the next elections will go.

When I was a child I believed every country needed just a small show of power to knee down their enemies. There will be ever two sides who want justice to be what they are fighting for. But this world needs a power bigger than just vows of revenge. You know, this model is doomed. It's never ending circle of hatred and revenge. But, if we only had a god... What if one country was capable of evaporating another country literally? Do you know why people continue to follow this philosophy? Imagination backed up by royalty and wealthy can be already be an issue. The main problem is that some people think that they are higher than others. Actually, they - usually - have average wits and couldn't be so effective without money. They don't invent, they devour what other people create. They pay money for it. I tell you - I can do paying process as accurate as they do. They are simply hostages of their status. Without changing this world one iota, they claim to rule it. Why is it possible?

If Israel bombs Iranian oil facilities and if Iran lashes out at the Gulf states, the price of fuel this winter will be absolutely savage.
2024 has been a crappy year. It is as bad as 2020 imho.

20 seconds on google shows Israel was created by forced as a result of civil war sparked by stupid ideas (~or evil ideas of divide and conquer) by the British for a separate Jewish homeland, and the inability of the Arabs to resist.
So, Israel shouldn't exist. But it does because what other state was created from nothing, devoid of indigenous people.
But let's not go back, that far.
Did you know New Zealand was only settled 700 years ago?

2-state: stop-loss for Palestians. prevents further slide however renounces all lost lands
forced reversion (assimilation)/abolition of Israel: This is the best solution for everybody except Jews and the US.
Ofcourse, the US and Jewish Lobby will never let this happen, but it's already starting to change. Democrats are no longer pro-Israel with increasing Arab populations in the US, and reduced Holocaust guilt.
So, most likely it will come to a flash point (as is currently happening) as an increasingly unopposed Israel stampedes the ME.
Israel becomes the West's scapegoat as lack of will to militarily impose it's will globally formalises an era of unilateralism.

I would say, that you invested your 20secs pretty wrongly. Great Britain promised Levanta (Palestina) to Arabs (not to the one living here but the rich ones around) only and for a years prevented new incoming jews to settle in, in contradiction with binding decision of League of Nations. When basically wasn't legally entitled to do so.
To be exact Britain Empire, France and Russia Empire made a deal going aginst League of Nation decision, to thwart any future existence of jewish state and divide the land as they pleased.

They have coexisted for 2 millenia at least.
Crusaders, empires have come and gone. Massacres occasionally, but they still live next to each other. Neither has suceeded or maybe they didn't want to exterminate the other.
Israel is the result of a bad parent who is trying to make up for a previous error (the Holocaust), when no threat existed (from majority Palestianians), ruining the natural balance and creating a major problem.
Didn't you learn about Crusades growing up?
Occasionally Christians would have excess energy and decide it was good idea to try to wrest the (shared) Holy Land from the other faith.
They would win sometimes, lose sometimes, change hands innumerable times.. you could say this is one of those times, if you don't think we are in post-history.

Well Britain was a peaked power and the only way they can colonize so many people (like India) was to break the various sects/whatever you can divide them by under the guide of 'protection' - which coincided with the new 'nations' now at each other's throats (Pakistan vs India).
Colonialism brought good things (language, culture, modernity) but lasting political (border) problems.

I think you went lost somewhere @purerogue3.
Germany was the one doing holocaust. And USA was the one who carry on with League of Nations resolution. And absolutely, both events happened in different times.
The Jews and Arabs did coexisted somewhat but also Christians and Jezids and some other various groups (not Zoroastrianians, these were pushed from area long ago.). Whereas is important to note, that neither Arabas and neither Jews were one group.
These were multiple groups, with different religion, values and beliefs. Which is what was keeping the peace.
When this period ended, Muslims massacred Christians and with them done, they focused on jews.
This cauldron of nations, was not a peacuful area, eden on earth or whatever to idealize.
Also it would be good to note, that term "Palestinian" is a very new and originally marked all citizens in that area, therefore including jews. What incited this conflict is arabian hate, their preaching supported by money and wying for influence.
If you look for errors in that area, you could find many. Mostly money handed into the wrong hands. Where instead having value for them and happy people, they built rockets.
