No one know this is Ballistics, when you can destroy it, you can't destroy Eagle Eye, Learning, and Sorcery.. First Aid is much better than Ballistics, thus you can fight against neutrals, etc This is basic Skill Is your repeat? You got an answer, so don't ask us again..

Take it easy Ghost, I know I have made similar polls in the past, but things might be slightly different in 1.7.0.

My vote would go between Eagle Eye and Learning, both are almost completely useless, though Ballistics and First Aid are almost as bad imo.

(Dis)honorable mention goes to Archery, when you only have 0-1 ranged unit.

We respect you, thus your knowledge abd knowing, you never listen other players, esp. MP and Titans, when a lots of Titans will join to your army, you reject Titans, thus 0-1..

But I know Ballistics is always be bad, even if comp, it looks like better.. Since WoG 3,5 version has improved, but without helping H4 came Catapult creature.. H5 got a skill back.. Ok JVC vs UbiSoft..

Then 0-1 is meaningless.. You need all units.. So Archery is a good.. I always know it, but your strong opinion, so I reject Archery, if my team is Fortress, and HotA came useful Archery.. I'm neutral.. Ok I go to make the Dead Ornament.. Was nice writing to you!

Fortress, Inferno, Rampart and Necropolis only have 1 ranged unit and they are often targeted by AI and arrow towers, so it can be hard to keep them alive, thus 0-1 ranged units.

I have a photo learning blind from an AI battle so I think eagle eye is highly underrated.

Well that can happen if you are lucky or maybe Slow, but it's still not really a skill (or specialty) you want on a main hero.
I wish Eagle Eye could pick up spells from creatures as well, would make it much more useful.

HotA 1.7.0 introduced a small buff to First Aid, still relying on that flimsy tent. Other than that nothing has changed, so what?

The only skill I'd consider to pick in desperate circumstances is Ballistics. For Learning it's even close to impossible to create an obscure map where it could be useful, Eagle Eye is my most hated skill.

The Dead Ornament after I make a new map, name is The Puzzle or The Secondary Skills.. The same thing, if description is decent, I think The Puzzle is much better word.. Ok, when it starts, there are no monsters in your territory, and only one Treasure Chest, for example.. So in there Quest Guard asks your hero level.. You must to pick heroes who have Learning skill or you build lvl 5 Mage of Guild for Fly, etc Just invisible lesson map.. Players can have a fun.. Thus AIs are none or surviors.. Tip: you need unit heroes who have own skill.. Ok, other what, XL sized HotA map.. Ok it after "3DO" style maps.. I can make maps too.. Since normal between expert level maps, thus I can play yet in some day I've planned over 50 maps to maps4heroes in many months ago, maybe two years already.. Now's 33 maps.. But later on I remove a few maps.. Ok

Have you tested Ballistics? When you must to know Artillery, Meteor Shower, etc Ok maybe only your one attempt, your strategy is valuable to destroy castle door?! So it pays!

Remember don't bring your infantries without flying and ranged units..

Remember town is meaningless*, except chechmate..

Remember maybe I'm using Shackles of War in the town..

*Many towns, you need to checkmate by TP.. Depends on strategy.. Many towns are OP.. But Ballistics

I think Eagle Eye is still worst, but I think 1.7 actually might have made first aid worse than it was.

It is objectively stronger, but they made the baseline so much higher for the first aid tent the incentive to get the skill is basically gone at this point.

There are multiple reasons why the community has spit on Eagle Eye for over 20 years, but the most definete reason for me personally has been the fact that since Eagle Eye can only give you spells after battle, it's very common practice you will end up getting the spell anyway sooner or later when you think about it: spells don't generate from thin air, so with only with couple of minor expections, all the spells cast by the enemy can be found on the map. Most typical places are of course mage guilds, but the enemy may very well possess an artifact/scroll that makes him cast spells. So, just receiving the loot from the dead enemy hero and/or conquering his town will usually give the spells without any hassle with Eagle Eye.

As this ends up cutting any reasons for picking Eagle Eye, it's (still) the worst secondary skill in Hota. Techinicially it may even be slightly worse due the Spell research, but since even in SoD the EE is extremly unplayble, it has no practical meaning for game balance or such.
Learning is also very, very poor ability, but it might at least somewhat try to compensate itself, which EE is not doing at all. Neverthless, stay away from both skills, as including them to your build actually makes your hero worse.

First aid got a major buff in 1.7, and now certain units can be used like they were Wrights, making some very safe and deathless early fights. I personally rated First Aid as the third most useless secondary skill, but now it certainly challenges the next skills in line, Sorcery and Ballistics. The problem with First aid is still the availability, and now we even have new town type, yet another one that does not hold the tent within their blacksmiths.
