Yeah, but the people who made WOG have a site. And I forgot the URL. Could you please help me? BTW: I've found a bug in SOD. Prolly you already knew about it but...
When you play the SOD campaigns, you may choose the dificulty level of the map you are going to play, just like while playing a single map. But when you look at the ROE campaigns, you have to play on the preset dificulty levels. Was it fixed in any patch?

Playing RoE Campaigns in impossible

I myself was able to play the Restoration of Erathia campaigns on any map difficulty. Now I know that it does not work on every version of Heroes 3, but you can always try it. Here's how it works (I hope I remember well, because I have uninstalled Heroes 3 for a few months now).
-First you click on 'start single scenario' in the main menu.
-The map 'all for one' is pre-selected. Change the difficulty setting of the map to, say, impossible.
-Now go back to the main menu and click on 'start new campaign'
-Select a campaign and you will see that the map difficulty is set on impossible. If you start the campaign, you will notice that you start without resources. Your scores will be 2 times as high as well.
Maybe it works (I bought a version in The Netherlands, which also contained HoMM I and HoMM II with which it works), maybe it won't. But it will cost you nothing to try.
