I was just wondering.....
... what are the things that you miss the most when it comes to Heroes IV?? I know it still feels like a beta-version but my self I still miss a few thing beside multiplayer, AI, etc...
1. Some old creatures (like Lich and of course all the dragons, etc)
2. Spells and their effects ( the spells to heroes IV are not as effective as in heroes III as I see it althougt this forces you to be more strategic
Well I canīt come up with anymore at this hour but I would really like to know YOUR opinion....
(If this topic already has been brought up Iīm sorry)

Things I miss is the asymmetric view of the towns, and I would like to see more towns in future expansions. Neutrals don't make up for the low amount of towns. It should be possible to buy neutrals in your town too. Imagine a huge amount of beholders. I think they would really rock.

In comparrison, I think 4's better
I'm going to try really hard to come up with thing's I miss about 3.
1: Simplicity. (Although complexity is better anyway's.)
2: Heroes individual bonuse's.
3: Some of the heroes.
4: FLY, and town portal. (I know the new townportal cheat, and I dont like it)
5: Cheesy graphic's. (The simplicity of the old graphic's are alway's hard for me to leave.)

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I could think of alot of new thing's I like in HOMM4 too. More strategy sum's most of it up.

I guess he mean's all the different type's of dragon's.
There were alot more dragon's in 3. Mabey the expansion will help with that?
There are liche's in 4? Hm. I'm still learning everyday..

ow, yeah, what I miss in the editor is that the screen doesn't follow the mouse, if you know what I mean.
In homm3's editor you could move to the edge of the screen and the view would follow. In homm4's editor it doesn't, you have to drag the sidebars. Also I wish there would be object brushes, so you don't have to click and drag all the time. Mapmaking would go a lot faster this way. I would also like to see a 'paint'-tool. You would be able to select the edges of a certain part of the map and then fill it with a certain terrain. This would go a lot faster than the brush thing there is now.

Yep, there are. Though not too many...You've seen them, those guys, with some crown. They put their hands in the air, and misteriously 6 or 7 angels die...and I saw them summoning rats, too.

Well...
...there are dragons but as said I miss dragons like the Azure dragon, Rust dragon, there was one more or?? The Lich was ofcourse the death-align level 3(or something)... They were cool....

I just can't get that campain song out of my head! You know the one. You probably heard it at 4:30 in the morning after playing for 6 hour's.
It goes right along with, "should I play the next one, or just check it out?" and picking one of three bonuses.

yes, i miss the azure and acid dragons too !
I sure hope they will be back in 3 months when the homm4 exp. pack will be released...
