bort: Thanx for the idea!
Sir Elric: Thanx for putting the map up here !!!
Known slight problem: Because one's not able to turn of the 'month of the <creature>' feature in the HoMM4 editor, you'll have to finish the map within one month, or you have to be lucky these <creatures> aren't blocking parts the map, because your Bob TM won't be able to beat them...
Mayhaps we can start making a hall of fame here: If you played the map (and won): Post your score here!

I tried the Map...
I explored all the Map and had walked around it twice when late in week 3 I met Bob!
First round started well. I did 2 damage to Bob while Bob did 1 damage to me. Next attack one damage each.
Next combat round my Bob did 3 damage and enemy Bob did only 2.
Then behold! My Bob got good Morale and did 2 damage while the other Bob got bad Morale and did 1 damage, and the second attack one damage each.
Last round my Bob got Good Morale again while enemy Bob got bad morale, and my Bob kicked the enemy's butt.
Ah, I felt the sweet smell of victory when the computer announced that my foe (Blue) had been eliminated.
Sadly, though....
It seems that even with just Bob for two players it appears that even this simple scenario was beyond 3DO's capablility.
After my glorious vicotry I was informed that my foe (Blue) was eliminated, but the game continued day after day. After several days I even tried saving and then reloading in the vain hope that the AI would grasp that the blue Bob was dead.
I continued a few days after the Astrologer declared it was the Month of the Skeleton. Mind you the AI didn't seem to place out any Skeletons so Bob seems to be free to roam his domain forever...

i guess the makers didn't make it so you must kill bob to win?
conditional action,
defeat player blue
then win
else nothing
i guess that would be it?

Djive: That's odd... I didn't have any problems on my comp when I playtested the map...
kujo: I didn't set any special victory!
I'll look into it as soon as I can and I'll post the results here!

i made a duel lvl w/ 2 sizzes lvl 40 best artifacts gm combat and secondaries, gm scouting and secondaries...and when i killed the other sizz..it didn't let me win. to make the map work all the time i think ur supposed to assign a special victory condition..like the one i mentioned above. thats out of experience with my duel level

Off-topic: Bonus applied.
Gave Pleuris a bonus for his good work in this thread.
Can I assume that since noone has posted a score that the Map is too difficult to complete? Or do everyone else experience the same problem as I did?

I found this thread very funny too, especially when it became known that 3DO planned to include Bohb the Archmage in 'The gathering storm'. LMAO!
And the comment of Bort on that:
See! I told you that 3do was responsive to fan input! LOL
So, I was eager to play that map. But I couldn't find that cursed enemy Bob! I searched for over a month for that little critter! Then I gave up (being nearly brain dead of moving that Bob around and around). Ironically, at that time I had yet to see a heroes 4 map that I couldn't complete and exactly this map, which was made to be simple, was too hard for me! So that's why I didn't post a score .
Of course, I was so frustrated that I immediately started playing 'maranthea's isle' where your enemy's evil main hero is called Bob . The map happens to be very simple too, by the way!

Actually, I'd tend to believe that this is one of the hardest maps. There aren't that many tactical tricks you can use to get an advantage...

I think that naming the creature would be too complicated.
Just look at that name. It's 3 letters long!!!
The game should start with a picture of stick figures fighting. Then you just push random buttons and hope that you win.
After the game, the screen will flash either YOU WIN A FREE 20 OZ. SODA or it will flash SORRY, PLEASE PLAY AGAIN.

LOL But it isn't just that you can't use many good tricks...the AI is extremely tough too in this map:
-It doesn't get its hero killed by the most nearby creature stack.
-It doesn't get behind on castle development.
-It picks up ALL loose resources and artifacts.
-It beats all monster stacks that it encounters.
-It sends out as much creatures as it can to speed up exploration.
-It uses the fog of war to its advantage very well.
-It isn't behind on gaining experience.
-The game takes many months more to complete than normal maps.
-When it gets threatened, it doesn't retreat to its castle being a sitting duck.
So...
Pleuris...you are brilliant. You solved ALL problems with the AI in this simple map! Congratulations!

Started Bob. Looked for Bob. Found Bob. Killed Bob. Bob didn't win.
Expecting that Bobs would be both placed into opposite corners and knowing well the AI behavior, I followed the road. On day 5, when I was near the opposite corner I ended my turn and immediately bad Bob came from the shroud heading towards me and then fleed to the shroud in the west (bad choice of direction as I was Red Bob). On the next day (Day 6) I tracked bad Bob down and there was a terrific battle between two Bobbletons. Of course, I won, which left me an empty map to explore due to no special victory condition.
