now i was gonna let this rest..
But since im adressed again i will give a short reply:

Sir Stiven did for instance break the above rule in the FAQ/Rules.
Sir Stiven didn't follow the below either when he decided to continue posting in the thread, against Hexa:
"How to Deal with Offences
If someone is foolish enough to seriously insult you, don't insult them back, that will only get you penalties. Instead report the insult to one of the moderators, sit back and enjoy watching the offender be dealt with. Posting your comments to the offender is only likely to cause more negativity."
Now the "insulting" word i used was calling hexas reasoning for "stupidness" (since he had called me the same).
But lets face it.. if we are to recieve penalties for calling another members thoughts "stupidness" there are many many penalties to give out...

Said it before and id say it again, my posts in that thread were not meant to be of an insulting nature.
By my first comment i basically said what i meant, i dont think hexa should recieve the MVP award. I didnt mean it as an personal attack.. i just think he doesnt deserve it. Having gotten some depth too it though i understand that i could have choosen my words better. But my purpose was nevertheless to insult him...
Same goes for the "stupidness" calling, i used that comment to arguement for my cause when hexa tried and made me responsible alone for taking the thread off topic. i didnt write the two comments as attacks, i wrote em to make my point more valid.
And if someone told me my reasoning in a thread was of stupidness i would just see it as a part of the discussion.. as said ive seen worse. Especially when my stupidness comments wasnt meant as some of you seem to make em, but it is as i said in the "rug thread" in other side forum..
it isnt always what you write what matters, a big part is how you recieve it aswell.

No, this was not the insult I was referring to. You did two more things which can be conceived as insults, perhaps more.
It's a mistake to take for granted that the reason for me wishing the penalty to stay is identical to the reason for originally applying it.

But it IS a personal attack. You can't get away from that fact. It matters not what you want to be.
If he deserves it or not is utterly irrelevant to me, and please refrain from discussing this point any further since it's off-topic. You dissed another member in an off-topic way in a nomination thread. You now do it again in this thread. When I said Lay it off, Quit and so on I was among other things referring to this passage which to be blunt I DON'T want to be discussed or mentioned.

Yes, and I considered this to very likely be the case also.

Too true, and I gathered that Hexa had good reasons for not taking all the things you said all that well. In other words, his complaint against you had merit.

speaking of insults..
One can easily think that you are calling me a liar in that former post of yours.
I really hope that isnt the case since i have told the truth and spoken whats on my mind ever since i got here just as i do in RL.
And i can just repeated what i said, my intention with the former "insults" was never to make hexa feel bad.
Thats the truth how i meant it to be and since i wrote it one would believe that i should know... though i understand it can be percieved as an insult. But on the other hand people were saying i didnt deserve some awards at an HC award show earlier either... is that an personal insult aswell then? Because i didnt see it like one, i just saw it as someone had a different opinion about me then other members.. its not like i start to cry about it.
Sorry for dragging this on but i still cant see the sense in it.
I guess that in the end of the day im just a victim in this since im labeled a "tosser" and my handle is "Sir_Stiven". Because im yet too see any penalties even close to this harsh level.
With those words i will also stop discussing any further unless im adress in an IMO unfair way again.

It would be a lot better if people refrained from making this type of comments. Such statements may very well hurt people feelings. Even if you have no hard feelings, other people may feel offended.
