Wyverns suck! (as if everyone didnt know that!)
Ok I am mad! lol not literally but really wyverns die so easily, which is weird since they come from the big defence skill town... or something, so I am just here to complain about how they should have.. hmmm how shall I say this? MORE LIFE!!! I mean really what good is defence is you have no life?(not literally)

Did you ever think, that due to low health of some units in the fortress town is why they have such nice defensive bonuses???
ANyway wyverns sure.. they are poor creature.. But in the right hands can be every bit as deadly as any other critter.
Not to mention that through Hives you can have HUGE numbers of these "weak" creatures.
You need to learn to play better Darkanix!

Im in a game now.. its week 4 and I ahve 56 wyvern!  Yeah its 8xm8 and I am tazar.

I know that they ARE good, I just don't like them unless of course i got the resurrect heh

Fortress only has mage guild up to l3... good luck relying on a l4 spell you're not very likely to get.

Lesson #1 for Wyvern (and Fortress) bashers in general: download "Fall & rise of the Sharai" by Gwhenwyfar.
Lesson #2 for Wyvern haters in particular: learn to exploit their special in insane ways. Need an example? Well, take one of those crazy (and wonderful) maps such as "The Lord of War" or "War of the world I & II". Chances are you'll find yourself facing some extremely heavy losses (if you play clean, i.e. few or no reloads and no hanging around waiting for your troops and treasury to build up) since your spell points will never be enough to resurrect your troops. "Oh no, heavy losses!" (cried the newbie). Don't panic: if you don't have Sacrifice but do have Berserk then split your Wyvern Monarchs into stacks of X and 1. Fight and survive. Blind last enemy stack. Cast resurrection *once* on major stack to be saved. Resurrect single Wyvern Monarch (if dead) and move next to major stack (usually thousands of Ancient Behemoths in "The Lord of War"). Cast Berserk on single Wyvern Monarch - chances are the major stack will be poisoned. Repeat until major stack's hit points are as low as possible *then* begin the iterative resurrection process on it. This is not a 100% fail-proof tactic but can work wonders if properly (and luckily ) exploited.

I think Wyvern is the better 6th creature. They cast poison.

The odds of that happening are relatively low, and even if you do get it it will be relatively late into the game. Anything can be good with res, saying that wyverns are good with res is just trimming down a generalization to fit a specific instance.
