And they ARE violent when it comes to Devils!!!

Most crusaders were just peasents anyway who had no order what so ever and got massacred by the Muslims!! I don't get what is so powerful about a crusader anyway!!

Same with that Champions! A horse isnt that great and the HUman on top! NOOO I think the gryphons must be before the Arc Angels and the Zealot on the 5th place then the Champion on 4 the Crusadar on 3th the archer and the Halberdier are just to boring to be true.

Mojo is right. Only St. Michal is mentioned in the bible as an Archangel, still they should stay. Crusaders were good, but u can't compare them to a Dragon. That's why Archangels Should stay!!!!!!!!

archangels must stay!!!
it would definitely take away from the game for me if they were to remove certain creatures, mostly the angels and archangels.
the number of archangels is a biblically debatable point and will always stay debatable. in other religions ( judaism and islam i think) there are many and they even have names. nowhere does it say that there is only one with a flaming sword; the only time a flaming sword is mentioned is in genesis when God kicked adam and eve out of eden.
as far as violence, man, even if you have never read the bible much, check out the movie "the prophecy." it sums it up nicely: did you ever notice that whenever God wanted to destroy someplace, he sent an angel?
a mere two angels destroyed two towns entirely in a single day. one angel killed the every firstborn child in the entire nation of egypt in a single night. angels are powerful and full of wrath against evil. but i don't think that they should be recruitable by just any class of player, and they would never fight alongside evil creatures.
the crusader is cool, the champion also. i like all the castle creatures except the halberdier. they can axe them if they like.

I think the humans should stay but they should be made much weaker, like in HOMM2 where they were weak and cheap...

hmm i dont know why people are saying humans should be weak! In most cases humans killed the creatures from these myths(dragons,hydras,minotuar,medusa,cyclops) I think the reason humans kicked ass is the fact that there intelligent(well most of em  ) While most of the monsters/creatures were strong but far from bright. So i dont have a problem with a lvl 7 human maybe they could be a powerful wizard or something.

Hmmm not all....
Not all Creatures are stupid!
Many Creatures are even smarter then humans.
But goodguys always win, Thats the reason that HUMANS win.
If it all was real.
I don't think human(without gun) COuld ever defeat a gorgon or minotaur who is much bigger.
I hope they Make them first classes.
They scrapt the Griffins ;o(
That means more humans ;o((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Humans=good
Well I think the human troops should stay they are really part of the Homm tradition. They have been here ever since the begining. It is like taking Barbarians away.

yep, in Heroes realm humans are good - and are antipode of barbarians.
But often in other fantazy realms - humans are taken as neutral.

And, just to remind you, we ain't talking about earth here. This is Erathia (or however you spell it or wherever it will be in the next game). That place may be much different from here on earth, and it already is! So, why don't we keep the things the way they are?

ONe other reason humans are good is because they wield weapons. A human with a sword and armor can take on a gorgon or giant. It happens all the time in myths and fantasy literature so I'm not sure what many of you are talking about here.
Plus humans gain in skill as they progress, unlike some creatures. I would think crusaders/paladins would be great because of their skill at arms, plus there intelligence, + their weaponry. I would say always make a paladin/crusader less than a dragon/titan though. Kind of like it was in homm2.

Oh, and who says there isn't something magical about a crusader/paladin? Maybe some kind of magical innate ability makes them superior fighters??? Yes, I could not hope to take on a dragon but they could give it a shot.

well, maybe the thing to remember is that it is always the heroes of legend (the players) who rise up to the challenge of defeating dragons and whatnot. the other humans, capable as they may be, are still merely the hired help. humans still defeat the dragons etc but it is the player with the big bad army that does it. removing humans from the game would kill it, it would make it something entirely different. and i don't think that they should be weakened either. historically, a lifetime of training went into the knights of old, and i'm sure that goes for champions etc as well. is that true about crusaders being untrained peasants? i didn't know that. that's interesting. but one gets the idea that the shiny, mighty crusaders in this game are far from unskilled.

Only one town is enough!
Yes, BUt i hope they will put them only in one town! And only 3 humans like a Paladin,Champion And Crusadar.
I don't think im going to make a Mage a human he is one but the humans that can make magic aint real humans to me they are wizards and sorceress not humans.
And Pluvious Paladins are cool They are humans but they are cool humans because they have blue aura that can heal other units they are totally different and much cooler that that stupid weak crusadar. Who looks the same but doesnt have healing or other magic power.
And all that humans havent got a Mirror to defeat medusa or a gorgon So I think humans must be Weak!
But i think there will be atleast 3 human characters in the HAVEN town. I hope Gryphons will be back also but they must be STRONGER than that crusadar!

No Yarg that is not true about crusaders. Anyone who went a crusade was highly skilled in war, and a primary reason they lost to the muslims and others had to do with church policy and not committing, along with pure #'s...at which they were at a disadvantage.
Templars, knights, crusaders, all were outfitted with the best of armor and weapons and spent nearly all their time training for battle.

Some cool creaturs for human town are:
Gryphon
Mage
Zealot
Arch Angel
Paladin
Eagle Eye
This are really cool creatures they Must be in the human town.
Paladin would replace the crusadars.They look the same but can't attack twice! but nearby friends will be Healt every round by the paladins aura.

Crusades
Pluvious is right. Anyone who went to the Crusades was an excelent knight. Well, the numbers and sort of disorganization were the things that hurt them. Now Tower was weak. Then if u had a not Tower hero as your main, then u could do good. Towers heros were weak!
P.S.: Pluvious a meddival history exeprt I see. Just like someone I know.
