I watched carefully the arrow. There is no kind of poison on it, but an ancient rune engraved on the point. Don’t worry. I don’t think he is in danger now. If we find the opposite rune, Nidhgrin will be certainly safe. It’s better to hide him somewhere & come back in a couple of weeks (….2…?) with a remedy.
I never saw that kind of rune before. They are really ancient. Those who mastered Nidhgrid are damn powerful and their magic is frightening. We won’t let those criminals in Nature comrades!
Hurry! Let’s plan a revenge massacre. But who the hell are they? And where can we find them? If only Bjorn190 was there…

The door opens again and the man you recognize as the lord of the Green gate enters once again.
"So gentlemen, I trust you have decided to pick up on my generous offer? I see that our enemies have already started to sabotauge our quest. This is good, for it means they are afraid taht we will succeed."
The man makes a small gesture with his hand and the note flies to his hand, like carried by some invisible force.
"Ahh.. their first mistake. I have used my magics to track the whereabouts of this note for the last few hours. It has been to the north of here, through the mountain pass and the haunted forest. There seems to be a camp there, but something blocks my powers. Be careful if you decide to go there, because blocking my vision is not easily done. Maybe there is a magical temple there, or it could be a powerful wizard or spell, or maybe a creature from another world. Eihter way, you might need this."
He hands an arrow to the ranger. Its form is ever changing, and it is almost completely see-through.
"This is an arrow of piercing. It is a powerful magical item that can pass through any barrier, so if aimed right, it can be deadly to the most well protected creatures. Dragons and Great heroes alike have fallen to these in the past, and now I give it to you. Use it well, for it can only be used once, in your most desperate hour. The arrow can save you."
The man stops, and stares into the nothing..
"Somtime has drawn my attention, I will leave you now. Go to the camp, find what clouds my vision, and maybe you will find your friends assasins. Beware the undead of the forest, and the giants that guard the mountain pass. I know not what horrors will face you when you reach your destination, whatever you do, don´t use the arrow until you get there. I must go now. Goodbye."
There is a shining light, and when it dies down the man is gone. The arrow is the only thing proving that he was ever there, as it rests easy in the hand of the ranger. You know now where you must go to seek out the truth.
Bjorn190, the cleric from the north says: "This will not be easy, I can tell you that. I can heal you, and I can ever ressurect you, but this scares me. He would not have given us an item as powerful as that arrow unless he was certain that we needed it. He knows more than he is telling us. We have to be careful."
As the night falls heavy outside the shutters of the tavern you feel a cold wind blow over the tavern floor. You know where to go next, but somehow, you wish you didn´t.

Well I am in on this. No-one slaughters innocent (well kind of) people like that!
First we need sleep and a warm bed. I would suggest we stay the night here and move in the morning. Nothing worse than marching when tired. Besides that we will need to arrange for something for Nidhgrin's body whilst we are gone.

Maniac grabs a bucket of icy cold water and pours the water on himself.
"Brrrrrrrrrr...well I ain't drunk at least now. Let's go!" without turning back Maniac rushes out into the icy lands outside. He comes back a moment later.
"Better though let's sleep until morning and get some veeeeeery warm clothes."

"There are 4 double rooms, 8 of you original party members. divide yourselves as you like, I shall see you all in the morning"
*goes to his room and ensures the door and window is secure then tries to goes to sleep*

(opens the door. The fresh and cold air breeze coming from the night brings him to his sense a little bit. He talks to himself:
- Holy Crom !!! What am I doing here? All I know is that I received that damned note, and next thing we are here. All it brought to me is trouble nothing else. Anyways, it seems that these little chicks seem to have some spirit afterall.)
(turns around and talks to the crowd)
Finally, you babies show some courage. I may even start to think that you sissies can handle some adventure.
Now that all packed up and ready, lets leave this tavern. Or we are gonna rot in this damp hole.
(gets out and takes a deep breath. he checks his inventory again to make sure that the 5 healing potions are placed properly. He takes one out, and attaches it to his belt. Then examines his two handed. The sword seems to have involved many battles-carrying the endless scratches)
says to himself: I hope we can get out of this without any casualites. Crom, guide our path.
(starts to wait others to come out)
