The best spells in hmm4 !
I think the best spells are:
Death: "Vampiric touch", "Hand of Death", "Raise Vampires"
Chaos: "Desintegrate", "Blood frenzy", "Mass Misfortune"
Nature: "Mass Fortune", "Summon Mantis", "Summon Faery Dragon"
Life: Ummmmm.... maybe "Guardian angel", "Mass Death Ward", "Mass Healing"
Order: "Hypnotize", "Teleport", "Mass slow"
Might: All of them

I can really only comment on Chaos, but I love using Chain Lightning, Armageddon, and Cat Reflexes.

got some different ones for life and nature
nature summon WE or waspwort and dragon/giant strength ofcourse
all the wards for life, but i prefer divine intervention over guardian angel, it's resurrection and mass healing at once! also mass bless and celestial armor.

Chaos desintegrate and I don't know name of this spell in english maybe hmm it's not important but you have another attack
Nature sands and dragon power
Death Vampiric touch
Life Guardian Angel
Order illusions and mass slow

I think all the ones mentioned are good, but another one would be Wasp Swarm/Confusion. It only costs 2 SP so you can cast it for basically the whole battle and take their best stack out of the battle.

Hand of death rules 4 killing easily quest heroes (after that you flee and voila- map is complete). And cabot - please chage your avatar! ok?

yup those are great, especially for a melee hero with some chaos/nature and don't forget life! they have song of peace, you know, and then there is blind, but that's something different.

I think, that "Mass Preseption" and "Death Call/Animate dead" are also cool, because you can get creatures with all specialtys and also CASTING SPELLS !!! (Unlike illusions). Bad thing is - reanimated creatures are undead. Imagine - Undead Angel or Monk.
