Mapmaking and artifacts descriptions?

Sorry if this is a duplicate thread, but I've started to make a bunch of HOMM4 maps and was wondering if there is a list of artifacts and their statistics somewhere out there that can be downloaded or printed...

It's quite annoying that when in the editor you can't pull up the artifact's stats or right click on them for a description. And there are no descriptions at all in the manual...
Also, there are some power ups and treasure dwellings that lack a description or editable properties also...info on them would be great as well.

I was tempted to write down descriptions of all the artifacts myself, but I figured it might be wise to see if someone has already done it.
So if anyone knows of a detailed list of artifacts and possibly the descriptions of treasure dwellings like Dragon City, pyramids, etc. could you provide a link? Thanks.

I had that problem myself... I never did find a way to figure it out, once however i made an empty map with every artifact in the game and i took a sneak peak =p

Other than that i suppose we will have to memorize them in time just like heroes III , because i know everybody knows all the artys and their stats in heroes 3 , atleast i do

There are sites that have comprehensive lists of artifacts.

The artifact list for h4 on www.h3trio.com looked up to date to me. Check it out.

To get there select:
Heroes of Might and magic
Heroes 4
Genesis of a new world
Artifacts.

Thanks for the link...
I was doing the same thing (putting every artifact on a map and reading the detailed descriptions), but it wouldn't hurt to have a nice list, so thanks.

The editor is nice and all, but the more I use it, the more annoyances I have with it. It's pretty tedious to do some things that should be relatively easy...nothing like deciding a certain portion of the map should be further to one side and then have drag EVERY single tree, mountain, etc over a few spaces...marquee select??? Grouping??? Oh, well.
