I think the question isn't why did Ves close toh..the question is ..why did he (or Melissa) delete threads?

Andi,
In season 5, how many veterans do you think there were in comparison to the amount of newbies? I would hazard a guess, 95% newbies to about 5% people who have played the previous 3 seasons or more. Playing people I dont know/newbies is just not fun for me, if that comes off as sounding elitist or whatever then I am sorry. I dont believed I overplayed the game and in reality, only played season 2,3 and 4, with randoms rekindling my interest for a long time. If it wasnt for randoms, no doubt I would have only played 1 season. This game is boring for me now, as it is for a lot of people back then. If people like your good self, motor, destro, etc. can still get a kick out of h3, then great, good luck to you and the german league, as long as you have fun, then its all that matters.
But to think that Toh will ever be heroes 3 orientated again( I know you are not one that thinks so or cares, but there are some...splexx, vinz, etc) is a pipe dream, and I doubt (and hope) it would never happen. There is the explanation the statement you tokk offence to, and I'm sorry if you did.

The other thing, is that I gave heroes4 a shot, I went out with the deliberate intent of trying to enjoy it, and believe it or not, it worked. I am now looking forward to playing h4 online in the greatest online tourney of them all (apart from b@stard of course  ). It is just unfortunate that you will not be a part of it. My last probably 50 heroes3 games were randoms against you and most enjoyable, I am sad though, that when h4 random maps roll around, we will not be able to kick each others arse some more. Maybe its the melancholy feelings of losing old gaming comrades who dont enjoy the new game that makes me post this way.

The only answer we get for the closure of ToH and more importantly for the censorship is "Ves paid the bills. So, shut the f... up. If you complaint about the closure of of ToH, you are b...h."

Its looks to me u enjoy being antagonists at time of some1's weakness. Im learning so much more about why rob took it quits with all the attacks and the reason behind the attacks sticks out like a sore thumb but I wont mention it here.
Rob is looking to clone the toh automation but i can tell u that if he read the atrocious comments well heh.
Mind ur own business pls. When I ask for help from u I get dead silence 'moderator ppl' -- but typing on this post is easy for u -- leave ur rightousness to ur own lives and improve those pls.
Why the threads were closed? because ToH was closed and rob wanted all discussion on the TOH board closed with it. Yes he wanted it closed. Yes its the TOH board. If u have a problem with that u talk to valery it is his board in the end.

Now come on mellisa that's unfair Romana was just saying he has a right to ask why and get an answer. It doesn't help the community to have mods snowing with eachother over their opinions. all both were looking for was an answer not a war on who is right and wrong and why it is happening.
And antagonists at a time of great problems? over in the tavern they have had to put up with DM for weeks and the last thing I would say about any tavern mod is that they are antagonists.
Why do I get the impression there is almost two boards, Tavern and Tournament. I don't play tournament so I don't post there but that doesn't mean I can't offer an opinion does it?

WHo can blame you too I would of called it quits doning somethang for people to have fun & I get talked down & slamed & my project I ngave you guys for entertainment.

Sure I heard Motors reply & it made me think but after this thread this is totally bull.
Weakness you shouldnt have none for you have too much ambition for this.
Say example I gave someone money to help pay thier house payments say 1200 dollars & in return all I get is treated like dirt with no thanks & all heck yes I wont help them again & I am done I wont let no one borrow money but if you see it's basically same example.
Mel you have many people to ask for help & I think you may be getting too emotional for very little thangs going on.

LOL, Just kidding. I played H4 for about 6 hours and found it hard to get into. Harder that I'll probably not get to play it for a long time now that I don't have access to the net anymore (a lot has happened, LOL!) But I'm logged on from work here and the boss can't catch me doing this or I'm fired. Maybe I'll play H4 with you someday Rychee, I always did like playing with you.
As for censorship, well, I'm not going to go back over old stuff and if a thread get's deleted, then I'm sure it's because it's of no use to the board anymore and is taking up too much room. I'd be the last person to accuse the mods of being censorship Nazi's because they've given us a good run over the years and things are pretty chilled for a board that's dedicated to Heroes.

if he wanted all discussions to end then why he made andiangelslayer a target to the player and announced on toh page that he is the reason for to closure ? every idiot knows thta ending toh in THIS way would be all but not an END to discussions and in the same second u delete ALL threads which would give the peple to make their own opinion about who is guilty and who not for Toh closure...
i say some 3rd world country dictators would be proud to have such a good working propaganda.

But vesuvius is so evil  everytime i load up a game of homm3 from zone with a friend, i see not the archangels and the arch devil.. but i see andi and Vesuvius... but... its so blured... i canno...
