Heroes IV installation Guide !
Hia all 
Like me, ALOT of players are having problems finding Gamespy/updates/etc. for Heroes IV so I think it would be nice if someone would make a step by step installation guide to Heroes IV so we can all be up to date.
1- link to Gamespy
2- Gamespy update
3- If your from XXXX Country you need to go to______.com to get update(s)
4- A little Gamespy guide !?
5- Anything else ?

I just dl'ed all the patches 1.0-1.3__ 1.3-2-0
And it works !!!! Tcp/ip for now tho.!
A nice player from www.gamespy.com called Prismbox is willing to help you out with your version !!!
But Indeed you need a min. off 256 rams to run a 2-3 hours MP game!!!!

I had to edit or else I would have decreased my post's ( LOOOL ) well here goes.
If you got US/UK version you can get the 1.0-1.3( THAT YOU NEED BEFORE MP ) then 1.3-2.0 from here : http://www.hommb@st@rds.com/patches.html ( the @=a's ) and off now you dont need to update your 1.1 www.gamespy.com to play ( 36+ mb) but you neer know IF you might 
I did all the above ( 3 hours on a 56 modem ) and all is working okie doke...so far.

Just make it more simple like this.
Ok for all new players come in please .
Buy your heroes 4 game & instll it in it's apropriate file.
Make sure you are connected online.
Gamespy will also be added choose yes & if online it will automatically install & upgrade itself & ready to go .
Now to upgrade you can go to alot of dif sites www.hommbastards/patches.com usually best.
DL1.0-1.3 first then right away dl 1.3-2.0 that will get you ready to play
On box tells you what requirements you need but good to get more then what it says on thy box
SHort simple & sweet

Some people are having different problems with the updates.
So they are using different sites/links for the update.
And some can't even update !!!
But IF your from Europe/US/Russia/...etc. and have some usuable links plz. link em here for ppl that does not have the insight or capability to get to them.

Heheh true but then again Players from dif countries usually are lingual to my native language & should be easy to help them with thier problem & if they are not lingual then I rarely but like 1-2 seen someone ask for help so NP .
