Maybe but
If they ever get new game with upgrades I don't hope on the next upgrades like":
Lich Lich king
Medusa-Medusa queen.
That are boring upgrades!
Then just do this
Necromancer-Lich King
Medusa-Gorgon
Harpy-Siren
Sasquatch-Yeti.
Some very different creatures

Sky Town
Town Name--Sky Kingdom
Town=Good
Might Hero--Winged Centaur
Magic Hero--Arc Angel
Level---Creature name-----Creature Building--------Ability
1--------Leprauchaun--------Golden Rainbow---------Teleport
2--------Winged Warrior----Sky Castle------------------Attack 2 times
3--------Gargoyle-------------Parapet----------------------Hot Water Spit
4--------Hippogryph---------Hippo Claud---------------100% to Gryphons
5--------Thunderbird--------Thunder Nest-------------10% change to thunder
6--------Winged Unicorn---Magic stables-------------All magic 100% Upward
7--------Moon Dragon-------Moon Temple------------Turn Day in Night
8ult----Storm Dragon-------Storm Mountain--------Fully Weather controll
LOOKS:
1 Leprauchaun(I hate that name)= They always guard a pot of gold behind the rainbow, That's the reason they are my first class teleport using units.
2 Winged Warrior=Crusadars with wings. They attack twice just like their brothers from beneath,Some say they are angels, BUT this isn't true, some legend has it that if an werewolf bite them they turn into winged werewolfs.
3 Gargoyles=They abandoned the tower city, and now guard the sky temples, They have learned the hot water spit move so they can shoot now, ice creatures aware!
4 Hippogryph=Half horse half gryph these beautiful creatures are very fast.
They are a lot faster then the gryphons , But gryphons are alot stronger,They even eat Hippogryph.
5 Thunderbird=Same like Gargoyles, They just abandon the Stronghold town.
Rocs made a big change in looks, but thunderbirds just look the same.
They have the same abilitys as in HOMM3
6 Winged Unicorn=A Giant Grey half pegasus half Unicorn (Big grey horse with horn and wings) They can fly and blind enemies. But they also increase your heroes magic with many manapoints! If you use magic be shure to have an Winged unicorn.
7 Moon Dragon=Not as strong as the sun dragon rival. These beautiful dragons look like birds. They have a moon collor skin and bird/angel wings on their back, tail and head. They can turn day into night to make some creatures like unicorns and humoids become weaker then during daytime.
8 Storm Dragon=These giant Darkblue dragons, Have the full power to controll weather, They can make the sun shine or make a giant storm destroying everything.
In homm they can make it rain on the walk and fight map so the fire and earth creatures are more weak during a fight and dissapear when doing it on the walking map. They also can shoot thunder bolts, And that makes them the only shooting dragons.

second death town.
Town Name--Necropolis 2
Town=Evil
Might Hero--Jurahan(Man on horse without head)
Magic Hero--Necromancer
Level---Creature name-----Creature Building--------Ability
1--------Ghoul-----------------Corpse Field-------------Corps eat Ability
2--------ScareCrow-----------Death Field--------------100% to birds
3--------Shade-----------------Shade Tree---------------Summon Shade clone
4--------Queen of Death----Castle of Death---------Create Skeleton/Zombie
5--------Banshee--------------Cliff Castle--------------Death Scream
6--------Succubus------------Dream Castle------------1000% to every male
7--------Oblivian Knight---Royal Semetery---------100%to paladin, Shot
8ult----Fallen Angel-------Fallen Heaven----------Ghehehehehehehehe
LOOKS:
1 Ghoul=Just like in M&M7 they eat corpses, So if he kill somebody he also eat the corpse, so it can't be turned into a living one again by the arc angel.
2 Scarecrow=Totally new and forgotten by 3do, These Bird hating scarecrows do 100% to any bird, They are very weak to fire tought......
3 Shade=Strong units that can summon a shade creature that looks exactly like the enemie it is used on. The only different is that is only 1 and it's very weak , but the enemie forget the shade and attack his own shadow clone, so the shade can attack this unit without a attack back.
4 Queen of Death=Like in M&M7 they look. They can turn death units into skeletons and Skeleton Archers,You better not have any ghouls when having the queen of death.
5 Banshee=Many people think banshee is a weak creature WRONG!! Even a strong dragon fears a banshee.... Their scream is so PAINFULL, when a banshee does her deathscream 1%Chance all the enemie units get many damage.
6 Succubus=Weakness to all males. They just like her so much they can't damage her. So she is totally immume for HUMOID male characters. A Crusadar(Ghehe) Can't hit her at all! Every other male character can hit her. but she does many damage back to them. Her weakness are other females. They hit her for 100% Damage.
7 Oblivan Knight=My personal favorite unit.. This death paladin is already rotten and is skeleton in paladin clothes. They have also purple aura around their sword and hands They are good in attacking and also good in magic. They can shoot purple balls that can block the special abilitys of the unit that is hit 10% change to do that.
8 Fallen Angel/Death Angel=They look totally Awsome! black wings, White skin, Black paintins/tatos on their face and limbs,Red Eyes, and long black hair. They hold a giant sword like the arc angels but its not normal fire that rises from it. Its green soul fire.Fallen angels are nothing more then Infested Arc Angels. Their specials are to make death units living again like the arc angel makes death humoids living again. THey do 100% damage to the ARC ANGEL HERO!
Name---------------Cost-------Attack-----Defenc-------Speed

Dark Forest town
Town Name--Dark Forest
Town=Evil
Might Hero--Dark Dwarf
Magic Hero--Night Elf
Level---Creature name-----Creature Building--------Ability
1--------Killer Rabbit--------Infested Grove-------------Infested bite
2--------C O C Katrice------Stone Woods----------------Turn To stone
3--------Werewolf------------Full moon forest-----------Turn to werewolf
4--------Hind------------------Anti-god temple------------Shot poison arrow
5--------Wendigo-------------Lost Woods------------------Follow 1 unit
6--------Spider Queen------Web Woods------------------Web and Summon widow
7--------Doppleganger-----Twin Cave-------------------Transform into close unit
8ult----Mist Dragon-------Mist Lake--------------------Mist spell turn into mist
LOOKS:
1 Killer Rabbit=A little rabbit that has the evil spirit and the soul of an Black Dragon, They can bite you then you become very bloodlusty and even attack your own friends. This only is a few rounds.
2 C o c katrice=A strange looking hane. Its half lizard half hane and sometimes 10% change they can turn somebody to stone for 2 rounds.
3 Werewolf=These are normal peasants at daytime and they turn into hairy strong werewolfs at nighttime. If an werewolf attacks peasants there is 10% they turn into werewolf and join the werewolf team then. Also if they attack winged warriors then there is a 10% of turning them into Winged werewolf. Winged werewolf can fly but have the same strenght.
4 Hind=Half Dear Half Female, They shoot golden arrows with their own poison blood that can kill a god, there is 10% change of killing lv1 creatures in only 1 shot.
5 Wendigo=They look like the yeti but also look different...
They have no head like the sasquatch but instead they have an skull head. There hair is very yucky and they follow the first person they see. So if they first attack a gnome then they will follow the gnome till one of the two is killed they just ignore the other creatures.
6 Spider Queen=This half spider half dark elf female is very evil.. She can lay spidertraps on the battlefield that ensnare pray when walk on them. She also can summon poison Black widows.
7 Doppleganger/Kobold=These pest can take any shape.BUT only if they are close to a creature, Like if they are close to a medusa they turn into one, if they are close to a black dragon they turn into a black dragon BUT if they are close to a peasant they also turn into a peasant, This is the weakspot of the greath doppleganger.
8 Mist Dragon=A Scary looking dragon. He has no shape! You only can see mist that sometimes forms a dragon form... He can summon mistclouds that blind enemies but also his own teamates all their attack will lower. Only the Mist dragons attack is still the same. They are hard to hit because they are only mist....
I wish the Crusadars good luck with this one.......

Some creatures from quest.
Cheetaur
This cat-like creature is skilled at tearing adventurers apart. A Fighter should attack constantly to try to keep the creature on the defensive. Other adventurers be warned, avoid direct combat with a Cheetaur altogether.
Where Found Forests of Spielburg (1)
Difficulty 7
Bounty Cheetaur claws are valuable for use in Potions. Sell these to the Healer.
Tactics Flame Dart and Dazzle spells are quite effective, although best used from a distance. Casting spells in close combat takes time and gives the cheetaur ample opportunity to claw at you.
Attack swiftly and relentlessly keeping it on the defensive. Don't bother parrying or dodging; just attack!
Mantray
This flying terrestrial combination of a Sting and Manta Ray uses its talent at camouflage to surprise unwary adventurers. Its tail produces a strong jolt of lightning. The best way to deal with it is to keep it always on the defensive. This monster can be dangerous to beginning adventurers, so you should keep an eye on your Health and remember to run away before it is too late. Magic Users should note that this monster is highly resistant to magical spells.
Where Found Forests of Spielburg (1)
Difficulty 3
Bounty None
Tactics During combat, watch for its tail movement as it prepares to strike. Simply dodge out of the way.
Magical spells are highly ineffective against it, so don't waste your mana.
Vorpal Bunny
Also known as Killer Rabbits, these seemingly cute and furry animals have bad tempers, sharp teeth and a taste for blood. However, the seasoned adventurer should not have much trouble dealing with them.
Where Found Forests of Mordavia during daytime (4).
Difficulty 2
Bounty None.
Tactics They are quite easy to kill, even from a distance using rocks, daggers or spells.
In close combat, they make great opponents for practicing defense (especially with a shield), and regaining stamina.
Note that jump attacks and spells are not very effective against them in close combat, due to their diminished height.

Necrotaur
Necrotaur
These vicious creatures, with their nasty temper, razor-sharp claws and huge fangs are perhaps the most dangerous foes that roam the forests of Mordavia. Despite their gruesome appearance (which looks like a cross between a rottweiler and a dead bear), they are not Undead but very much alive.
Where Found Mordavian forest (both day and night),
Guarding the castle gates at night (4).
Difficulty 10
Bounty None.
Tactics It is not usually worthwhile fighting a necrotaur; so unless you are in good health and looking for trouble, run away!
At a distance, spells and daggers work well against them, so use these effectively before engaging in combat.
Necrotaurs are swift and relentless in their attack, leaving little room for strategy. Simply hack and slash at them repeatedly.
Acrobatic attacks and spells are suicidal when they are attacking right next to you.
If they do retreat a bit, use a continuous stream of daggers and spells to keep them back.

You've got some great ideas... but I still like my own ideas... The only things I didn't like in ur units are the Dragons... too many! I'd like to play a game where there is only one or two types of dragons, easily recognized as powerful creatures.
Oh and yes, Valkyries are part of Norse Mythology. Amazons originated in Greek mythology, and I think it was just an exagerration of modern games (such as Diablo 2) that Amazons reach up to a higher 'celestial' level of being a Valkyrie. They're totally different.
The only thing I know about Amazons are that they kill babies IF they are male. As for Valkyries, they are Odin's servants who travel Midgard (the Earth plane... In Norse there are four planes, Midgard (equivalent to the world of the living), Asgard (Heaven), Nifleheim (Hell) and Mussphelheim (land of Fire). But I think Mussphelheim only existed before the gods were born) and collect the souls of dead warrior who died honorably, and take them to Valhalla, to reward them of their nobility.

Amazons...
what most people don't know is that Amazons were not mythological beings. Of course, their true appearance, habits and culture are nothing like what we see in Fantasy games/movies or lame TV shows (ie: Xena, Hercules). About killing male infants, there are many opinions... some say they killed them, some say they abandoned them to the nearest village/town... what is known about Amazons, is that they were excellent archers and fearless warriors.

Not true.
There are only a FEW REAL dragons in those towns.
There are very much fake dragons.
Fake Dragons:Crystal Dragon/Fairy Dragon/Turtle dragon
Real Dragons:Choas Dragon/Sun Dragon/Azure Dragon/Rust Dragon/Forest Dragon/Silver Dragon.
Anyway. The dragons are so much different in looks and skills and abilities. I just love dragons! If you don't know another creature for it just make up a dragon
Dragons are also very much like humans(LOL) they are smart and all different.
Like
Silver Dragons are the sorceress under the dragons.
Choas Dragons are the evil 2 headed vain dragons.
Sun Dragons are familiars of the sun god.
Azure dragons are the cold heads.
And Rust Dragons are like.. Uhm.. they are like.. Uhm other subject please! I don't know what they are like because 3do made them up(finally a cool creature they made up theirself)
And try to get used to the avatar I wear. But don't fall in love with me okay?

Heroes 4 as I would like it:
There are 8 schools of magic: Life, Death, Order, Chaos, Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Each has their own town.
The town of Life is a sacred, magical place. Here, everything is vibrant and beautiful beyond words. The areas and buildings sparkle and glitter, but still feel natural to the touch and are easy on the eye. The creatures and people that reside here are dedicated to the preservation of life everywhere, but are not totally opposed to fighting. Life magic is mostly concerned with healing the fallen, even resurrecting them, but have several spells which come in handy for attacking enemies, if indirectly, such as Heavenly Wrath and Divine Intervention. Life specializes in ranged attacks, but have some strong melee forces as well.
Life: Lvl 1- Leprechaun(walker)/Sprite(flyer/shooter)Leprechaun may cast luck, has magic strike. Sprite may fly if she does not shoot. Can shoot light bolts
Lvl 2- Elf(shooter)/Centaur(walker) Elf has two shots. Centaur has high morale)
Lvl 3- Druid(shooter)/Unicorn(walker) Druid may shapeshift, shoots light bolts, cure of death magic. Unicorn may heal
Lvl 4- Phoenix(flyer)/Dryad(shooter) *Note: Couldn't think of a good walker in this case* Phoenix has Blinding Aura, Rebirth, Immunity to Life magic. Dryad casts Ensnare, summon Sprites, can shoot light bolts
The town of Death is a terrifying but solemn place. It is eerily quiet, save for the whistling wind that bites at the skin. Here is the town of the undead, covered with dust and ash but noble and beautiful. The undead creatures are horrific but intricate at the same time, deadly killers. The beings in here worship death, but in timely and orderly fashion. All are undead, with the magic in this town powerful and dark. Their spells are mostly of inhibiting the enemy, but have powerful resurrection spells for summoning undead as well as decent offensive spells. Death specializes in building of undead forces but have many abilities that inhibit the morale of the other army.
Death: Lvl 1- Skeleton/Zombie- Skeleton raised by necromancy, Zombie may cause disease, death causes disease cloud {when a zombie dies in a stack, it explodes causing damage around it to non-undead}
Lvl 2- Ghost/Ghoul- Ghost takes 50% from normal attacks (not from magic user)Ghoul may cause Paralyzation, may consume dead creatures to revive dead Ghouls.
Lvl 3- Lich/Vampire- Lich may cast Poison Cloud, raise dead, Shield of Horror. Vampire resurrects from draining life.
Lvl 4- Bone Dragon/Death Knight- Bone Dragon lowers morale by 2, causes fear. Death Knight can cast "Sorrow", chance for double blow, mana draining attack (if attacking magic user)
The Town of Order has a passive magic around it that makes you feel almost uncomfortable. Everything, from every block of stone to every blade of grass, is in place. Everyone is following their own path, and fulfilling their own destiny. Everything here is shiny and clean. No glitter or fireworks here. Everything is plain, but beautiful because of its purity, cleanliness and simplicity. Order creatures are like the town- loyal and high in morale all the time. Order armies are composed of creatures that glitter and shine like the perfectly ordered rows of buildings in an order city, marching perfectly in formation. Order magic is composed half of powerful moral boosting magic, and the other is designed to toy with the minds of their opponents, ensnaring them and bending their will to the power of order. Order specializes in balancing out all their strengths, having neither glaring strength nor weakness.
Order: Lvl1- Halfling/Crossbowman- Halflings have giantslayer ability.
Lvl2- Gargoyle/Golem- Gargoyles may turn inanimate for one turn to instantly regain health and take 50% from all attacks. Golems take only 25% damage from spells.
Lvl3- Paladin/Griffin- Paladin may cast "Mirth, Heal, Bless" Griffin has unlimited retaliation
Lvl4- Valkyrie/Angel- Valkyrie may cast "Heroism" and has the chance of ignoring defense, or "Critical Strike." Angel may cast resurrection, hates Devils.
The chaos town reeks and a ramshackle mess meets your eyes. Everywhere are houses thrown up, food and dung lying everywhere, a noise and smell that wraps itself around you and whirls in a frenzy back and forth, refusing to let go. The town is of chaos, the way of their life and battling. This town has the cheapest creatures, whom require very little to fight for you. However, they also have the lowest morale, and will oftentimes desert very quickly. The creatures of the town are mostly of barbaric animal nature, with only a few wise enough to know any kind of magic. Chaos usually shuns any use of magic, but for those that possess magic, it is akin to the wild magic of earth. Their magic often spirals out of control, destroying both armies and causing mass confusion and death. However, when used properly Chaos magic can do wonderful and terrifying things. Chaos creatures specialize in mob attacks- they do lots of cheap damage quickly. While their defense is somewhat lacking, there are many of them, and plenty more where they came from.
Chaos Lvl1- White Tiger/Goblin- White Tiger has first strike, Goblin gains additional attack from every stack of 100 goblins.
Lvl2- Orc/Harpy- Orc has counterattack- allows the orc to strike back twice. Harpy has swoop attack.
Lvl3- Shaman/Ogre- Shaman may cast Bloodlust, Frenzy, Beserk, Chaos blades. Ogre has a hex round swing attack (swings around and does damage to all the adjacent creatures around him)
Lvl4- Cyclops/Behemoth- Cyclops has spread attack for his stones. Behemoth lowers defense each time he attacks.
The town of air is a mysterious, magical place. The winds and storms swirl constantly around the town, but are gone as soon as they come, snow swirling and winds howling. The element of air is like the town's denizens; seldom seen, quick and mysterious. The creatures in this town are shrouded in legend and myth. They are like the wind: you can feel them there, but you cannot lay a hand on them, and they fade away before you can attack them. The magic of air may be used in quick offensives that best chaos' best spells, but also quicken the feet of the troops and assist their armies any way they can. The creatures of air, though weak in combat, are extremely quick and have many special abilities to offset their weaknesses as well as the support of much magic.
Air: Lvl1- Wisp/White Wolf- Wisp has the chance to do 200% damage with a lightning burst, White Wolf has the chance to do freezing damage (the next strike on the attacked stack kills the first creature as if they had one hit point)
Lvl2- Pegasus/Air Warrior- Air Warrior may cast haste, takes 50% damage from all normal ranged attacks.
Lvl3- Yeti/Wind Eagle- Yeti has the chance to counterreact, giving it 200% defense for that round. Wind Eagles take only 75% damage from all normal ranged attacks
Lvl4- Thunder Drake/Titan- Titan immune to mind spells, Thunder Drake does spread shot (melee, just does spread-hex damage) and can cast Air Shield
The town of earth is probably the most comfortable of all the towns. With no sense of discomfort, it is easy to walk among the buildings of earth. And yet, you sense deep, hidden within the temples and homes of the earth town, that there is a deep power that resides, slumbering until it is wakened by an attack. However, instead of terrifying it is reasurring and comforting. The creatures of earth are solid and strong, but slow. They are steady and sure, and are very durable. The magic of earth specializes in summoning creatures to help them, but has several spells that boost the defense of creatures as well as several effective attack spells.
Earth Lvl1- Dwarf/Kobold- Dwarf generates extra gold per day, Kobold does poison attack.
Lvl2- Medusa/Beholder- Medusa may turn enemies into stone, Beholders' attacks penetrate through any creature on the way to its target. Both have no melee penalty
Lvl3- Minotaur/Shamblers- Minotaurs always have high morale, Shamblers bind creatures to ground when they attack
Lvl4- Ent/Dragon Golem- Ents can cast ensnare, barkskin, slow. *Note dragon golems are carved out of living rock, powered by the magic of earth blazing in the form of a heart. This has nothing to do with Mr. Driver's Pistons and Springs TM Dragon Golem* Dragon Golems only take 50% damage from all magical attacks (by magical users)
The town of fire is akin to any fire. It blazes merrily until it runs its course and goes out. However, the town is not to be taken lightly- it has some of the strongest and most powerful creatures in the land. Being like a burning flame, the armies of fire are the best at attacking. They have the highest attacks of all creatures, but have little defense or hit points. However they also have many useful special abilities that do damage to their opponents. The magic of fire is not much good at defending, but does a great job on the offensive. Entire armies have been levelled by fire magic. Their magic also comes in handy with enhancing the attack of their troops.
Fire Lvl1-Imp/Beserker- Imp can teleport, Beserker may go beserk (duh!) sacrificing defense for attack.
Lvl2- Cereberus/Salamander- Cereberus does multiple hex flamethrower-like attack, Salamander has fireshield, can cast Fireball, Fireshield.
Lvl3- Efreet/Nightmare- Nightmare lowers morale has life ward, does burn damage. Efreet may cast Fire Enchant, Firewall, hates genies.
Lvl4- Black Dragon/Devil- Black Dragon immune to all magic. Devil has Immolation Aura, lowers luck, hates angels.
The town of water is also a peaceful place. The people here are akin to water, where the power of their magic lies dormant. The people of water are also like the people of life, invigorating and as beautiful and simple as order. Water does an excellent job of providing for people, and is essential to all life. The creatures here are beautiful and peaceful except in times of war. Many dwell in the water and sea, but are able to climb onto land for war. The magic of water is the best of all to enhance the abilities of creatures, whether it is by blessing their attacks, providing them with an enchanted shield against attacks or curing them of poison and magic. The forces of water specialize in slow but sure sweeping attacks, assisted by passive but powerful magic whose enormity drowns anyone who dares stand in its way. *Note, Water spells enhance the already existing stats... the more points you have, the more it enhances it!*
Water Lvl1:Mermaid/Lizardman-
Lvl2: Mage/Baskilisk- Mage can cast ice bolt, enchant weapon, Anti-Magic. Baskilisk can turn enemies into stone.
Lvl3: Naga/Genie- Naga's attacks have no retaliation. Genies can cast any water spell, hate efreet.
Lvl4: Hydra/Wyvern- Hydra multiple attacks, no retaliation, has regeneration. Wyvern has chance of poisoning, immune to poison.
phew, think that's it for now! Concept sketches later!

WOAH! That's a lot of great ideas Wesley.
I personally like the ideas of the Hind and the Werewolf! I think I'll make a new line-up soon, so be ready for it!
But what made u decide to have three creatures for each level?

Thanks!
I'm curious already!(to your towns)
But 3 creatures is much cooler.
12 units in every town.
I can't miss only one of the creatures you see there.
I love them all. And I want them all in it.
So I had to put in 3
It will never be that way.
But whatever.
Do you post your towns into this thread aswel?

Apparently Darion, you decided that Life and Nature are too similar? I can see how that works...something, though, tells me that you really need either an Elemental Magic System or a Pentagram System - the two just don't seem to mix.
