Toh versino of gamespy?
Hey guys, how about our own, h4 connecter like gamespy...
What basiclly gamespy does is have a server list, and it just turns that into gui...
Whenever you host, it adds a entry.
We can make a similer program to grab that list...
But I dont see the point if we have ad cracks now.
Having our own program gives us more features we want(automatic toh login?)
This ofcourse requires a nice team, i cant do it all by my self, besides its just a idea

hello,
if there was a need for something like that i would suggest IRC. We can all meet in one channel (for example #toh3454325435 on efnet), there we can arrange games (connect manually). One can also use a bot that every 5 minutes advertises something like "searching opponent 1 on 1, msg me with toh-handle!" or "3 on 3, connect directly to ...".
I'd like that even better than gamespy arcade, but it is to hard to make everybody use it. So I suggest: Let it go as it is now.

It is possible to create skins for GameSpy... a TOH one would be great!! I don't know that it's possible to create channels/rooms in GS but I agree it would be a good idea.

Maybe we can indeed have a irc channel.
And il make a good script, liek gamespy fo rmirc....
Just nto gamespy, but just a dialog with current open games(users in irc)

There's a #heroes4 channel on Undernet that could be used for that. It is registered and everything. Only a few dedicated admins would have to be found.

Whatīs wrong with gamespy?
Thereīs no point in finding solutions to problems that donīt exist. Itīs just a waste of time.
Thereīs a limit to what can be created to bind the toh population together, because íf things get too specified and exclusive, then toh would become a closed society without new blood. Iīve seen it happen to other guilds, a few months later they died.
Basically it is good to avoid building a wall around toh. We are not that special..
Never in the history of mankind has it been good to keep groups separated from the rest of the world. Itīs a thing of evil. 
Im for mixing with others on gamespy. Itīs more.. healthy

Gamespy is sufficient.
I do know with my programming team, and a powerful server, like the dedicated server I use for my other website along with an ad-free setup and cool avatars/and chat system it would be a thing made in heaven.
However it would be mucho money, and so it is not something a single man does with his money. Especially when its supporting a game that is still too buggy and activity relatively low.
Im even holding back on tourneys as you can see, until some of these major multi bugs are fixed.... a hybrid tourney which is divisions/clans mixed is in the works, but wont be open until we have a fixed game.
