Suggestions for talking alot but not acting on it
Hello,
I think we should play more homm3. But I donīt wanna do anything about it. I just want to make alot of posts about it so that I feel like I have some usefullness.
I used to kick ass in toh, cause I had high ranking cause I played the same map over and over again with ppl that got too bored to learn it the way I could.
That made me feel like the best. Then when TOH shut it down I realized that it was all makebelieve and didnīt mean a thing when it ended. All those boring games, and then I understood that I had done nothing, accomplished nothing.
So now I want to ask someone else to start TOH again like it was, so that I can feel like the best again and put some value back into my boring games. Cause I didnīt play to have fun, I played to compete. And I think others should know that I am the best at that.
But I donīt want to do anything myself. Cause if I had the inclination to do things I wouldnīt have played so much boring maps instead of doing something with my time.
So Ves, can you please make toh back to the way it was? And if itīs at all possible, can you make a news article on the front page about how Homm4 sucks and the great players of toh (me - yeah its ok if u use my name too) deserve their homm3 toh. Cause they are like.. the elite or something.. of something. I guess.

Actually im quite sure i saw motors make more suggestions on how to keep it alive than i do with your post here bjorn

gaming overall is pretty useless
but we enjoy it anyways. When u look back at how many hours u played any game over the years, u think how much u could have used that time for other more productive things, no?
i think what rob tries to do in some way with toh is that all that time isnt lost entirely, that u have a record showing where you stood, and hopefull it will stay there for a long time as a part of a community just like the player photo page for example. U can still look and see where you stood in rankings even 4 years ago. im sure even in heroes 5 players can look back to their season one heroes3 days!

Seriously Andi, it IS funny, and there are some points in it. Itīs about doing things instead of talking about them, and also, itīs an attack on elitism. Iīm not surprised to get an AAS response to a post that can be enterpred as an attack on Motor. But itīs not an attack on Motor. Itīs an attack on a way to act.
But itīs not even an attack, cause thereīs not really anything to fight for. Itīs more a kind of blunt way to try to explain something to some people. If you donīt get the good points, then thatīs up to you.
But if Ironmlh is a junkie, then I guess that movie you were talking about was some form of gay porn.. cause thats kinda gay.

For the record, it is my understanding that Motor has been working with Kitten on some ideas (ie, acting not just talking) and I know that both Motor and Andi have expressed interest in helping look at some maps for the new Lords Resurrection tourney that Ves is being nice enough to set up for us. Now I am the first one to admit that both Motor and Andi are critical at times, and I may not always like the way in which they express their displeasure. But, I do respect the fact that when push comes to shove, they are both willing to actually help out. So I think we ALL need to spend a little less time complaining and poking at each other and a little more time doing something constructive.

dont some of think i havent thought about " hey stop talking and start acting" replys before i started to critisize ? i would work my butt off to get h3 runnin smooth again...
- im a student so i got a couple of freetime
- im an experienced H3 player
- im able to use dreamweaver
- i have a lot experience with runnin homm tourneys/subtourneys
so believe me im not just a talker

Motor, I am more than willing to work side by side with you, if it helps our players and H3 fans so be it. You never know Motor Me you Andi and Raven could make one hell of a team!
