Actually, I think I have. Your'e just stuck with your thought that Malekith sucks, and will always lose........Also after almost one year playin toh I think my experience is at a lvl that I can share WHAT I THINK is good tactics.. (doesnt mean u have to think so) and this without beeing flamed......Remember, I dont say I am even close to many of u guys in here, but also remember, that I have played heroes as long as u have.....(Does not mean I think I'm a better player.......I would lose to most of you  ) Anyways, I think the vets could have had great experiences with magic heroes.......yes, u could even win some battles

Fortress is a great town ... especially in the hands of a master.. I would take fortress over tower anydays on random.
Except if its XL with under!@

Ok, listen. I have a plan. We all know it's n00b talk, saing that Fortress sux big time. And that's what I thinks. Who would like to play Fortress against him with his Tower to prove he is wrong? You see, he's a whole lot better than me and I'd love to see him admit he's wrong ::nasty grin::. If he'll accept the challenge, he'll most probably play on the very same computer I am using now, so I'd see his downfall  . So, any volunteers?

So, do we have two volountiers, two noble heroes, two bravehearts to play on-line? one of them should play with Fortress.(a large map, I think) - the result being told to everybody.

I'm not that seasoned ToH player so correct me if I'm wrong, but I seriously disagree with this kind of statements.
All over the board I keep reading things such as: 'There is no best town' and 'It doesn't matter which town you take as long as you use its advantages and disadvantages well'. In this thread alone this is already stated three times.
Well face it, your town of choice does make a difference. When I play with Dungeon on impossible difficulty, I have serious trouble to build my level 3 beholder dwelling which costs one of each resource, especially when the map is resource poor. But if I play that same map with Stronghold I will effortlessly build my level 5 roc dwelling in the first few days. So is it just me or does your town of choice in this case indeed make a difference?
Similarly, in a map where there simply is no crystal (to mention an extreme example), Stronghold has a hard time. But Inferno doesn't suffer too much from it. And if you have ever harvested skeletons with necromancy, you know that map size is an important factor for the necropolis town.
So my conclusion is that, depending on the map and such, it does matter which town you choose. Though as a result of that I agree that it is hard or impossible to say which town is the best if you don't know the circumstances.

Well you can always add things up to that, if you dont get the resources... if you only get bad skills to choose from...if you only get bad heroes...if the other one gets 2 great relics in topia while i only got crap...and so on.
Everything in this game depends on the situation, so by talking like you do there are no better heroes and such. (Id take solmyr on a random S with no under =P ). But generally speaking there are no better towns, it all depends on situation..and as a random player, you never know if map will be loaded or crystal if playing stronghold or if it will be loaded with for example gems.
What everyone does have tho is favourite towns/heroes and such, but id say as i said earlier. there are no better towns than another, its all about the situation and how well you know to play em. You simply cant start bringing up several "if"s because if you turn the table the other part can come up with his/hers "if"s too.
But saying that one town is "weakest one" is just stupid, because as said..it depends on situation.
Oh and btw, if playing dung on high diff, try picking shak as hero and upgrading trogs day1..it can do wonders for you =)

Of course, children must not play with fire! But we ignore it, thus having the possibility to allow them make campfires at home. LOL
