H5 Balance and betatesting !
Heroes 5 NEED to be betatested, in order to make all towns equally strong.
Vampires are ridiculous, still, 3DO doesn't care to fix the balance. Something is very, very wrong here.

Vampires are balanced IMO. Using Necromancy to generate Vampires the way it's done is not balanced. (Simply put: You get too many Vampires from Necromancy.)
Towns don't have to be perfectly balanced but each town should have access to something which gives it an advantage.
IMO it's better to fix balance issues in patches, if required. The released game doesn't have to be perfectly balanced.
Though things like transfer speed in multi-player and a much better AI in single player needs to be in place for the release.

Single player AI will not be a challenge for good players in a loooong time.
Multiplayer transfer speeds are important.
Heroes 5 should be real 3d.

I think da Bucketman is right, Heroes 5 need to be tested.
Although the game balance relies heavily on well-made maps, so basically maps need to be tested as well)
The argument that the game does not have to come out perfectly balanced is a bit form the minimalist perspective. The more balance they can add before the release, the more people will be willing to play and the faster it will be balanced via patches.
I am not talking about transfer times, that definitely has to be taken care of before the release.
Happy New Year guys

While I do agree that Heroes V needs to be heavily beta-tested (at least, heavily in comparision to what happened with Heroes IV), I'm not sure that we need to worry too much about town balance...
What I want to see as far as towns is something more akin to Heroes II--the Warlock was undeniably the strongest, but other towns had certain advantages against it; plus, if you like a certain town, you end up playing it often normally and learning it inside and out, thereby giving yourself an advantage playing with that specific town type. Both of those statements show how sometimes a Knight could beat a Warlock. In the early game, the Knight has the advantage.
