Best games of 2002 I think:
1. Warcraft 3
2. Heroes IV
3. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2
4. Morrowind
5. Return to Castle Wolfenstein
For graphics innovation I would defeinitely pick Morrowind!
Not sure about other areas though.

Ok heres a more time input into favriout games of 2002.
Graphics: Console takes the cake here anyday.
Grand theft auto vice city is a fav of mine with great graphics.
Playability: Morrowind by far. It's like taking your mind, and putting it into a world, (with exception of stats, and menu boards)

I recently got an rpg game "Dungeon Siege". It has something similar to homm with the creatures and to diablo with the type and it's sure a good game. The graphics are nice and it's created by microsoft-it says everything i have almost finished it.

I think that "Grand theft auto vice city" and "Grand theft auto III" were the best games. But that is what I think just because I like those types of games.
Side note: HOMM 4 was most certenly a dissappointment

All I can say that I am now a fallout addict for a month or two. Fallout 1, Fallout 2, Fallout: Tactics and all it's soon to be mods. Can't get enough of them!

If talking about Multi-Player I'd have to agree with GameSpy's voters... Battlefield 1942 is simply amazing...you should try it.Tthere's a MP demo and it's active enough to take off

Civ 3 multiplayer - with the Add on it really rocks
Best RTS
Never play them
Best MPS
See Turn based
Best Racing

civ 3 as I can't usually play most others online

Best RPG
I've only really played Pools of Radiance of the recent ones
Disapointing
HOMM4 I guess, I wasn't really looking out for much in 2002 that ended up being a bad game

best games eh?
Alright heres my list: Diablo 2 Expansion (LoD) (my acc name is PsYkO_ on USEast for those of you who play) Warcraft 3 (PsYkOtIcMaGe on Azeroth for those of you who play), GTA: Vice City....Rainbow Six: RogueSpear, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4, Mortal Kombat Dealy Alliance, Rainbow Six: Ghost Recon (didnt play yet but looks kick ass) Morrowind (same as Ghost Recon...crack didnt work on my comp) D&D 3rd edition lol that's pretty much it...i better go be4 the teacher starts snowin at me...later!

Game of the year...hmmm, I really enjoy playing Warcraft 3 and Age of Wonder.
Most sucky$£$[€$£{[}{]€{€[@£dissapointment: HOMM4 and Battlefield 1942 (can't believe peeps actually enjoy these games. Especially Battlefield. It's like rolling dices....the one with the most luck survive, and the one with least luck dies...example: U're in close combat, u have a rifle and shoots small burstes at his head from a few metres. He survive. And then, after using a few magazines, (yep, u both have ) then someone finally gets in a hit, and wow, he died!. Actually, I'm pretty sure that if I turn my rifle up to the shy, and shoot, I'll probably kill someone

This is NOT "The Best So Far". But "The Best of 2002".
