WOG problem
I just got WOG, and think it's great, but I have one very annoying problem when entering the tower town. I get lotsoglotsoflotsof errors, It seems like I havent got all needed bitmaps files. I open the "p" folder in data directory, and can only find two files.
I don't know if there is supposed to be more files in there though
I just wonder if anyone else has the same problem, and if anyone knows where to find those lost bitmaps files.....

"p" file only has 2 pcx files in them. What version of WOG are you running? Are you upgraded to 3.57 or possibly BETA testing 3.57m?

Beta testing 3.57m at the moment, but I have the same problem with both original 3.57 and 3.56. Seems to be some.pcx files missing....

I dont have the problem you seem to be having. But rest assured there are only 2 pcx's in the p file. Maybe you should look in your Heroes 3 file and find woglogs and look to see if you got all the files transfered when you downloaded. Go to Heroes Forum at Stratagy planet and post your problem there and someone on the team could tell you what your problem is.

Problem solved, Had to change my locale settings to english UK. Anyway, they warned before installation, but thought it was just bull****.

Different problem, this is multiplayer related. Its just me i imagine cause i just dont know how to set up a game.
Anyways....
When i try to play a multiplayer game with my cousin the game starts fine but when i get to the second players turn it starts on the second players computer sayi9ng ERM script error, is it because i need to hit that multiplayer WOG option if so do we both have to? also when i played and used the multiplayer button the game crashed on my computer when i tried to look in my castle.
Please help ive only played a few times, but i love it and want to play Multi.

Please make sure you are playing either 3.57f or 3.56/earlier.

suprisingly i never thought about it, you see i had just sent him a copy of my files but afterwords i formated and a new ver. came out, ill check our versions.

BTW, as I have said before, it doesn't matter which version of English you use. I use English Australian without problems.

Version 3.57 does not support on-line gameplay, so make sure you either use an older or a newer version.

I have 3.57f so does my friend. we still cannot play? how do you guys set up a game? we get things like
Eip=ox3963e5b access violation attemp...
stuff like that.
what settings do you use when setting up? do you hit that multiplayer button? in wog options
can someone explain the exact basic setting?

Do you have the same 3.57f version? I am not sure if it effects online play but saves sent to another by email will not work between the original 3.57f and the new allinon1 version.make sure you are using the same release date of 3.57f. If that doesn't work let me know.

Oki I have a problem....
When i battle a neutral creature lots(and i mean lots) of error messages come out...they end with Wv2 and Syntax skipped ... and some stuff like this.
I think the errors come when the conditions come up(potions.blah,blah)...
THIS DOESNT OCCUR WHEN I BATTLE AN OPPO JUST NEUTRALS ON MAP
and this also happening when computer is battling neutral forces.
Can u guys help me?

I have never seen or heard of this error before. What version of WoG are you running and do you have any non WoG team scripts running? non WoG team scripts means scripts that did not come with the game. There are maps out there with scripts in them that can conflict with WoG team scripts causing errors. If not that and you have 3.57f what order did you install in? Was it the old 3.56 allinon1 then 3.57 3.57f? Or was it the new allinon1 that is 3.57f already? Need to know these things to know what is wrong.

Gangrail... We both redownloaded the allinon1.zip 28.8 MB (30,287,035 bytes) and when we try to play it sais ERM SYNTAX Error File: service_: line 974 (10050 before)
load custom cannot start
error game not saved properrly or is old version.

I have that problem on 3.57f so he is not alone.

if you figure this out you wanna let me know, i was going to try and reinstall hereos (im running with no-cd) and try that way but since you get the same problem i may not.

If you are loading a saved game from an older version of WoG then the game will NOT load. There is a backward compatibility problem with the newer versions of WoG. It saves and loads games differently. If it is something else then I will have to let Slava know. Please let me know if you are trying to load a saved game from an older version of WoG.

no we are not trying to load a saved game
we tried with a random map to no avail. if we play without any WOG settings we are ok, if we dont wogify a map. also how do i see wog maps? i made a map with wog editor named it 1test and desc was 1test. yet when i went to choose a map it wasnt there.

Are you sure that the map had no errors in it? If it had any errors in it it will not show up as a playable map. If not try to verify it in the map editor to make sure you haven't overlooked something.
