Races&Nations
It's so interesting:
for me the
Tower is associated with Russians(arguments: Snow's everywhere, Mages' clothes are similair to russian's native clothes)
Rampart - Ireland, Scotland(when you enter the Rampart castle - you hear the old celtic music(I like it so much )
Dungeon - Greece(Minotaures, Medusa - from greek mythology)
Help me to define other races' nations.
What do you think on this matter?

Uuuu... Russians aren't from Tower! Snow isn't everywhere in our country, and our national cloths are much more different from those that mages wear! I think Rampart applies better here...
But in general, I think you cannot match any country with any town from HMM so that they will be equal. The only exception is ancient goths and Stronghold

Of coz Rusians are from tower! Just take a look at upgraded gremlin's barret. It looks like a milicia officer

Why Russia is the Rampart? It might not be so obvious to those who have never been to Russia but as stated above - there isn't snow everywhere and there are LOTS of forests and rampart-looking areas. In addition to that, the modern Russian society is one that, compared to others, loves classic fantasy like LOTR (so there are the elves, dwarves, pegasi, etc).
However, I always see the rampart is more like the northern areas of Israel as the dragon mountains look exactly like those mountains we have there.
The barbarians in H2 were very Egyptian and but in the other games it became less clear.
Tower looks more like Norway to me, but I know very little about Norway
The Knight, Life, or Haven are a lot like the French or British.
