first screens for Homm 5 out

they look really nice!
lvl 6 creatures to be in the game!
a phoenix to be 50% larger than its homm4 coisin? Now what does 50% means ! size on a combatscreen not decided yet? 50% more hitpoints/power? or does the 50% adress the lvl4 to lvl 6 jump ? Well yours quess is hopfully better than mine!
Undead Capitol looks quite detailed !
Especial the native terrain is good ! I wonder if the colour of the town is fixed like this or going to follow player color! (it could look like this was an turquis theme) Anyway not a castle a would walk into a dark night! As such places should be!
( edit hmm do I have a timing for this!)

These look great!
Far more realistic, and better overall. The pheonix is waaaay better than in HMM4 (doesn't look like a chicken amy more).
Let's hope this one will be a nice surprise for the heroes community, we deserve one after all of those dissapointments we had these years.

Has this been confirmed? All I've seen is that they are moving to a new location. But of actually leaving 3DO I have not seen anything confirmed.

You're wrong. (sorry I have to be so blunt)
New World Computing is moving to Solvang, California. New World chose to do this, not 3DO. New World is staying with 3DO. This does not reflect any financial trouble, etc. You can read Christian Vanover's post on the 3DO Community telling all about it.
To add my voice to the chorus, I can tell by the graphics that Heroes V is going to be a great game. When they said that they were re-examining everything about Heroes from the ground up, they really meant it, as evidenced by the detail they put into these pictures.

isn't Solvang a scandinavian (danish) emmigrant area?
With a really turisted town, with "coloured german look like " (supposed to be scandinavian i think ) farm houses!
HC andersens postcards and danish suvenirs, even danish meatballs and RØDGRØD med FLØDE.
hmm...
Well maybe not the worst envirement for developing a fantasy game!
Anyway I would certainly not be so bold to say that improved grapics indicate a better game! But I HOPE

Solvang calls itself the "Danish capital of America." Looking at the photos on their website, I have to agree yes, it doesn't seem to be a bad environment for developing fantasy games!
