Dutch cuisine is very easy to do.
Take potatoes.
Take anything you could get for a discount at the greengrocer(does not matter what).
Cook it way too long in the same pan.
Drain the left-over water.
Take a masher and mash the whole thing.
Serve with whatever you could get for a discount at the butcher.
I'm not kidding, this is traditional Dutch cuisine (the butcher product part is actually a luxury, but not necesarry).

tradition - n. (handing down from generation to generation of) opinions, beliefs, customs, etc.
Can we really talk about traditional american food? Does a 200 year old country have much of a tradition?

Well, gotta love the food of Israel (well, it's eaten all over the middle east). The most important foods are shouarma, falafel, humus and pita bread (all of the preceeding go in it )
This is not to be confused with Jewish food, which is far more european.

Every day you learn something new. I always thought that humus was a fertile type of earth, formed from the decay of organic material.
