I have ResEdit somewhere on my HD but I don't use it, I forget why, I guess I didn't find it too useful, or I liked one of the other tools better. I'm not sure if it can extract creature DEFs or not, try it out and see for yourself.

About MUGEN - I know about it and I used it a lot while programming my own fighting game but getting the characters from there and importing them into heroes smoothly will be a difficult task. All of them will have to be resized (easy to say but hard to do when you have over 200 sprites), with all the positions and sizes matching the position of a standard heroes sprite. And of course you will run into the problem of colours used (sometimes the palletes don't match). However, this is all quite possible to do if you want to spend a lot of free time on it.

OK.. I've seen far too many links to this page.. don't you get error 404!?!? could somebody (1 is enough; post after send) plz send me those two def-modifying files (lambda@armagedon.org)? it would be very appreciated. I'd like to try to reskin some monsters.

Yeah a little late but yes I talk about that mugen , I don't have linux  and the actualizations for the program isn't avaible for windows... and now I can't play it but in his time was very very fun

YEAH!Good idea Pink panthera and simpsons famili.But wog is heroes.Mage vs pink panthera,you make me jocking.Good idea,but to another game(mayby idea to new game to Visual boy advence )
