Have you seen Wyverns on sidewalks and Gnolls driving cars? It's only a game! Besides, this change makes no sense, cause this would unbalance the game.

how the hell would this small change make the game un balancing? i think it would make it more balancing first a and d are even then aa beats ad then saa loses to ac its perfect

Well see that's just it the Devils have never been stronger than the Angels so why change that now? I think it is mainly because people want to believe that good is stronger than evil and what is more good than an Angel of any type and what is more evil than a Devil of any type? Besides the Father and the Son.

Yeah, realism rules! Hitting "hot" creatures like fire, energy and magma elementals, firebirds and phoenixes should hurt the hitter! Further more, ghosts are not material beings, and thus shouldn't be hittable. A corpse cannot be killed, therefore undeads shouldn't be killed by simply whacking them with blades and stuff. Air elementals are made of air, and thus should also be unhittable.

LOL But you know what I said is true. Noone wants to believe that the Devil can win in real life and that carried over to the game I think.

I don't see nothing wrong with that. Anyway, I think that the angels and the devils should be pretty much equal all the way. I mean, there must be perfect ballance between good and evil, otherwise one will wipe the floor with the other which would ruin the balance of the universe.

Another WoG team member is working on a script to balance the game out more. Changing stats of the creatures and stuff that might be one of them not really sure at this point though.

Whatever, i don't play with that towns often so I don't really care. But I would like them to change the name of "Supreme Arch-angel", it just looks too......I dunno...

Not likely, you should have seen the bruhaha that resulted when changing the name of the Antichrist was being discussed. The end result was that no names would be changed.
There were two alternatives for those who still wished to change names, one was to add a re-naming script and the other was to offer a modified txt file that stores creature names for the game. Both methods would allow the user to modify whatever names they wished. I was in favor of the txt file option, as it would be in effect whether the game was WoGified or not.
A final conclusion was never reached, and no one is currently working on the script method that I'm aware of.
If anyone is interested in the txt file method I caan give instructions on how it's done, It's rather simple.

txt file? Sounds interesting, would bge nice to keep several versions on your HDD and switch them, depending on your mood . Imagine that - ghost dragon -> spiritually inclined dragon .

i would call the supreme arch angel a seraphim that supposed to be the highest ranking angel and change the name of the santa gremlin then they would only look stupid

Naming them as Seraphims wouldn't make any sense. They should have 3 pairs of wings then. Not to mention a Seraphim's daily schedule lol.

The best way to change the names is to extract the txt file yourself and edit it with Notepad or a utility like TextEdit. For WoG the file name is ZCRTRAIT.txt (it's CRTRAITS.txt for standard H3) and is found in H3Bitmap.lod in the Data folder. Use a utility like ResEdit to extract the file.
After you are done modifying the file, just put it in the Data folder, Heroes will read it from there, no need to import it back into the Lod file.
