Thats what I mentioned Balcough.
We can make a point value of deviding dif points ranks.
Or maybe to be fair from this season we can make it fair by counting the prestige each heroes 4 players gained this season.

3 people clans , one round the war, will have unexpected good results, the strategic map will be modified faster, catching people interes.
Even they lost one war, didn't waste so much time for that and they are ready again for a new one (defeat/ challenge ) 
for instance, mapmakers clan j/k.
but i DO think so , one round is the ultimate recipe to revive the clans thing.
maybe a small bonus for first war of each clan will give some impulse for people to start new clans. also, if 2 out of 3 people leave their curent clan in order to form another or just give up playing , the former clan should be automatically disbanded and the record erased , changes shown at once in the strategic map.
e.g. a 3 rounds clanwar took , sometimes, 2 month,
1 round clan war could take 1 week, 2 tops.
more forced, i think will be a good idea, if Ves is not so pesimist
Also, i must admit the bonuses are kinda unbalanced, so my suggestion will be to have less specialities, based , the most , on number of altars , money, few extra heroes, NO artifacts AT ALL, maybe creatures or dwells, or some buildings in town.
if artifacts are minors or treasure won't be of some help, if more than this could cause unbalance .
also, taking in consideration the mod, the bonuses would be adjusted as well, for a real help
VES you can help us, i think there are more willing persons in having a new ystem than it seems so. and not only for a curiousity, to be in also.
one more thing, something like a 3rd part as a judge in setting the wars, will have a better effect than a mutual (dis)agreement between 2 clans

no "ingame bonus" needed just give some points or so, this will eliminate the possibility of some top clans with lots of bonuses.
why not 1 special map for each land? then we will have no disagreements about maps.
3 clanmembers and 1 round sounds good

no, i think it would be better for those 2 clans to make a suggestion consisting in a set of 3 maps.
so Ves, you ll have 2 sets , max. 6 maps to choose from.
if there is a common map, it's easier, otherwise it's your call. This way , we can avoid the disagreement , and we'll advance faster.
In any game, the main board , scheduling the games, random chosen, has its part of the fun. so i think your call will be expected with some extra interes.

Just a side note:
Balcough mentioned players studing maps before war starts. Our clan made a war with Youri's clan. There clan was obviously stronger and had the noticable advantage agaisnt us. But I ONLY agreed to a war with them if they would play Lost in Space. Reason I chose that map was NOT because I made it, but more because at that time it was the newest map and less rushable. And since it was so new neither clan had played it to death.
So I figured it may help our clan out some playing a map pretty much blind with them as opposed to them haveing there TC Route all planned.
So I agree and make the war and tell Youri that the war must start immediately. He agrees. After the war is posted he starts stalling and then telling me he must have time to learn and study the map. So 3 weeks! after the war was posted and only 5 days before deadline, he finally says he is ready to play our match. ** Then after we started game he played 5 days of game and then disappeared until after deadline. Outcome = war forfiet.**
Not only did that defeat the purpose of us accepting the war, but then he wasted 85% of the deadline.
So I think there should also be something addressed about the deadlines and the players who avoid games etc.

I have always thought it best to play a map both players know well.
What makes you think the map you both "haven't" played is unknown to your opponent? This assumption I would only make with those I trust fully 
Maybe some noticed the 0 games played on utb for tc before caesar. Did it really feel like he hadn't played it Zud?

one look at clanmembers and u see all active players pretty much...maybee it's the main thing that kept u guys playng all this time cretantly not me...i would be verry interested in joining a clan next season(if the clans would be more balanced) and i'm sure i'm not the only one sayng it

So Ves, I don't think it will take more than 1 minute to post a new message on ToH main encouraging all newcomers and "veterans" alike to email you if interested in a new version of clans which we will think of later !
I think the result would amaze one of us, either you or me, so i think it's worth it for the thrill of finding out
