Dragon Slayer awakes inside the chaos main room where some of the chaos members are making a toast, he doesnt know how he got there and the enemy havnt noticed him yet... how strange. Well might as well make the best of a bad situation. Dragon Slayer sees Deimos with that hole in his leg, and couldnt help laughing. Dragon S;ayer swings his fist at Deimos' head, but his hand goes straight through...
DS: What the??? Ok then take this!!!
Dragon Slayer continues to swing but continues to miss, and to top it all off, Deimos didnt even notice him!
DS: Hold on a sec.. I..i must be dead! AH CRAP! I really wanted to smack Deimos good...
Fill with rage Dragon Slayer kicks a pot plant on the ground. TO his amazement it went flying and broke next to Deimos' leg! It seems in his ghostly form he couldn't harm any being directly, but could still touch anything non living! The other members of the chaos army turn around and start blaming Deimos for braking a perfectly good pot plant, Deimos had no idea what was going on...
DS: Hey i could get used to this! Muhahahahaha!!!
OOC: @Deimos - Just to let you know, no you cannot freeze the air around me, making me visible. I am a ghost and theres nothing you can do about it.

Shadowcaster and Wolfman rushed through the maze to cut off the intruder, finally reaching the second floor after a good while. The shadow mage had cooled his temper off, but gazed fixedly in the direction that he was running, determined to sever this intruder's visit to the labyrinth no matter the cost. Wolfman was still worried, but a similar look of determination soon found its way into his eyes as well, he too knew what lay ahead. This would be no ordinary encounter.
The pair rushed up the spiral staircase leading up to the second floor, only to be knocked to the ground by RSF as he rushed by at nearly the speed of sound. Shadowcaster stood, and was horrified to see the time mage running through the maze beneath them, slowed by wrong turns but still moving through at an alarming rate. The shadow mage looked at his friend, smiled, then cast a shadow over the third floor labyrinth. RSF was blinded, and the shadow mage knew that they were too deep underground for any sunlight to reach. The time mage would not go any further.
In order for Wolfman to see, Shadowcaster dispelled the nearby shadows, allowing a small sphere of visibility for his comrade. The friends began to walk through the maze, searching for the stranded time mage. Shadowcaster was eager to find his foe, and walked at a quick pace that soon tired both men out. They sat against a wall for a while, wondering where RSF could be. Little did they know of the time mage's trump card.
A single light crept toward the pair, slowly advancing through the labyrinth, searching for the source of the shade that it was dissolving. The recent Order casualty was about to be repaid.
OOC: Deimos, please don't interfere with this scene. I'm sorry to disclude you from it, but this story is the fulfillment of an important request that needs to be carried out. RSF, please try not to find us quite yet. You will get to the diamond after our encounter if you so desire. I'll explain all of the loose ends of this post when I post here next, in a couple of days.

RSF had been spreading dust all over the floors of the labyrinth. Due to the dim light already present in the labyrinth, it was already hard to see one's way around, which made the dust nearly unnoticable. After the total darkness was cast upon RSF, he knew that Shadowcaster was on his way. And so his second phase of the plan was quickly forced upon him. Now that he had infiltrated the labyrinth, his plans of subterfuge had begun.
He had made it as far as he could and now followed the long rope that he had brought with him into the labyrinth back to the last couple of guards that he killed. He had tied the rope to the dead bodies of the guards. Upon reaching the guards dead bodies, he pulled the rope down down a different hallway until all of the slack was gone and then followed the rope back to the guards dead bodies yet again.
RSF, dressed as a Chaos guard, layed down on the ground next to the other dead guards. He began wheezing waiting for Shadowcaster to find him.

Deimos strode back to the party. He somehow knew that the intruder was RSF. He needed to find Shadow and make him see sense. Deimos went around a corner and ran into something invisible. Wolfman was there. Shadow's voice floated out of the dark, "Deimos, what do you want?"
Deimos: Your quest for revenge may be the ruin of us.
Shadow: You know nothing of it. Believe me, if you were in my place, you'd do the same.
Deimos: That doesn't matter. Your quest makes you blind to the others. From your point of view, if you kill RSF, the war is as good is over. If someone else kills RSF, you would commit suicide.
Shadow: I-
Deimos: I don't know and don't care what you want to get back at RSF for, but if you put that priority before defeating Woock, you might as well pack your bags and leave the fort.
Shadow: Who made you the leader?
Wolfman: Be fair, Deimos. Shadow's been through a lot. Take pity, his-
Shadow: No! Don't tell him.
Wolfman: Shadow?
Shadow: Sorry. I just don't trust him.
Deimos: All right, I will let you pursue your quest for revenge, but if your revenge makes us fail again...
As Shadow and Wolfman turned to leave, Deimos shouted after them.
Deimos: Hey, I saw a rope somewhere over there.
Shadow: Thank you.
Deimos let the friends go a little further, then started quietly following them. He would watch, but he would not allow them to fail again.

OOC: Deimos, if you are going to control my character, please show a bit more discretion in doing so. In your post, you ordered us around (all officers are meant to be equally ranked in this roleplay). Also, you caused me to yell at Wolfman, something Shadowcaster wouldn't do in a time like this. If you hadn't noticed, I was trying to strengthen my friendship with Wolfman to better frame the plans that I am forging for him, so an outburst like that hardly belongs.
One last thing, you would have a hard time tracking me in my shadow through a labyrinth whose blueprints you have only recently laid eyes upon. No offense, but try and think before you post next time.
Shadowcaster and Wolfman continued through the labyrinth in search of the intruder while reflecting upon their less than enlightening conversation with Deimos in a mutual silence. Shadowcaster was tempted to take Deimos' offer to leave the side of Chaos, with Wolfman perhaps, and he began thinking of how much the magog reminded him of Mvass. Perhaps the two would suffer the same fate in the end, but he hoped it wouldn't come to that.
Not walking as fast as before, the pair came upon the slackened rope that Deimos had warned them of, and Shadowcaster's anger towards the magog slowly diminished. Wolfman glanced at Shadowcaster, and the two began to follow the rope, vowing to be wary of whatever was at the end of it. The rope proved to travel further through the maze than they had thought, and after a while, Shadowcaster grew impatient. He wanted to end his rivalry now.
The shadow mage grabbed the rope and began to tug on it, not moving whatever was at the other end. It was very heavy. Wolfman joined in the tugging and the dead weight began to move, slowly at first but speeding up quickly. After a few minutes, the prize rounded the corner. It was three Chaos guards tied up, but it was unclear whether or not they were still alive. Shadowcaster moved toward the heap of bodies to investigate while Wolfman stayed back in the shadows.

Back at the Order base, Vadskye sighs morosely. To bad DS died. I wonder if I can ressurect him... Vadskye looks at the body he brought back with him during the hasty retreat from the Chaos base. No good. He's too beat up. Maybe I can make contact with him, though... Vadskye gets up and clears a space on his desk. Let's see... 1/2 cup elephant tail, 3 Tbs. moltium phosphate, and... Oh, whatever! I can't remember! What the heck, I'll just try to reach him the other way. Concentrating his will, Vadskye reaches out to the emptiness.
Dragonslayer? Dragonslayer, can you hear me?
Startled, DS flew up several feet, hitting his head on the ceiling.
OW!
Huh? Is that you?
Vadskye? How can you talk to me?
Sorcery. Is there any way that you can think of to restore you?
No, sorry.
Dang. Should I experiment?
Is it dangerous?
I don't know. It could banish even your ghost form.
Well then no way!
Okay, I'll just research in my books. I'll consult you before starting anything, ok?
Great. I kinda like being a ghost, but there's something about being able to fight...
I know what you mean. I'll get to work.
Great! See you!
Ok.
Vadskye was exhausted after the exchange. It had taken a lot of his will to keep the communication channel open. Soon, however, he took to his books.

Through the dust that hovered lightly in the air, Shadowcaster and Wolfman studied the guard. He was dressed in a poorly tailored uniform that was too large for him, but only slightly. Spam was encrusted on his face, wrapping nearly all the way around to the back of his head, and his face was completely covered up by the thickly layered substance. One taste was all it took to determine that it was a sample of old spam. This was definitely RSF's handiwork.
After multiple attempts to remove the spam, Shadowcaster determined that it was too hardened to scrape off without any tools. The guard would have to be taken to the infirmary, where his face would be cleared off with a scalpel. The duo began to lead him through the labyrinth, not knowing that this guard was the very man they were looking for. But even through the spam, Wolfman saw the faint hint of a smile, and remained wary of their newfound companion despite multiple assurances by his friend that RSF was still lost somewhere in the labyrinth.
The trio arrived at the infirmary, and the surgeon began to delicately pick off the pieces of spam that covered the guard's face. Neither Shadowcaster nor Wolfman bothered to stick around to watch, and Wolfman decided to visit the others to warn them of the possible danger that the now identified intruder would come in after the diamond and their lives. Shadowcaster remained near the labyrinth exit to make sure that RSF would not get far if he managed to stumble out of the darkness. He was not aware of what was to come.
After a long wait for either Wolfman's return or the guard's release from operation, Shadowcaster decided to check on how the spam removal was progressing. He tilted the door open, not looking inside, and asked the doctor how things were moving along. No response was given. The shadow mage asked again, and again, no answer came. He pushed the door open further, and as his field of vision expanded, a gruesome scene unfolded before him.
The surgeon was no longer alive. He lay slumped against the wall near the entrance with a scalpel embedded into his forehead. The blank stare on his face led Shadowcaster to believe that his death was swift and sudden. Only the guard he was helping could have done this, but he was nowhere to be found. The shadow mage cautiously tilted the door open and entered the room.
In the far corner, the patient lay in a fetal position, face first against the wall, nose in the corner, positioned so that he would have to be approached to be identified. Shadowcaster soon realized the nature of the trick, but it was too late. RSF sprung to life and charged before Shadowcaster could react. It was only a matter of time now.

Meanwhile, in the Order fort...
Vadskye, annoyed by the fun seeking King's pointless presence, spake thusly: 'You were a ghost once, right? And you could speak to the living?'. 'Yep. Why do you ask?', replied Woock. 'Then why not teach Dragon Slayer here to communicate with us without either exhausting me or switching your form?'. 'Right you are, lad!', and he dissolved into nothingness. With Woock out of sight, Vadskye sighed with relief and returned to reading the books.
Dragon Slayer: Oh, hi again.
Woock: Hi. Our almighty wizzard here asked me to teach you to let the living hear you. It'd make certain things a lot easier.
Dragon Slayer: Agreed. So, let the teaching begin!
Woock: See, you just have to concentrate and...
The teachings continue for a while, and then...
Woock: Now try it.
Vadskye falls to the ground, clutching at his head and twisting in agony. After a few seconds he lets go of his head, stands up and pats the dust off his robe. Then he shouted 'WOOCK!!!'. The King meterialized next to Vadskye and said 'Hey, it wasn't me!'. 'Yeah, right.', Vadskye muttered and once again returned to his books.

RSF pulls out a sling and some spam elemental ooze and slings it at Shadow's head. Realizing the trick just in time. Shadow is able to cast out his shadow, however the spam has covered his face leaving the both of them visually impaired. Feeling his way across the wall and listening to Shadow's breathing, RSF slowly makes his way out of the room.
Dragon Slayer: "RSF... You need any help?"
RSF turns around and throws a dagger. He hears it klink against the wall. He remains silent.
Dragon Slayer: "It's Dragon Slayer. I'm a ghost now, but I can help you."
RSF: "Dragon Slayer. What happened? I thought you were still alive when I brought you back from the Chaos Fort."
Dragon Slayer: "It's better this way. I can help you get the diamond. Duck!"
RSF ducks down. A split second later comes the sound of metal hitting the wall.

The dagger hit the stone wall with a force that chipped off a sizable piece. It was clear that Shadowcaster was mad, but he remained concealed in the room where his shadow still hung. It was a long time before he emerged. He walked out and glared at RSF, dropping the scalpel to the floor. The shadow mage did not care whether he died or not, he just wanted his revenge on RSF to be complete.
Shadowcaster raised up his arms to cast a shadow through the hallway, but was soon stopped. A loud shriek pierced his ears, and he looked around and saw nothing but his rival anywhere nearby, covering his ears knowingly. The shadow mage dropped to the ground, clenching his ears and screaming in agony under Dragon_Slayer's relentless audial assault. As his concentration diminished, the nearby shadow in the operating room and the veil over the third floor of the labyrinth began to dissolve.
RSF smiled and approached his rival, ripping his hands one by one from his ears and tacking them to a nearby wall with daggers. The shadow mage had no protection from the noise now, and could only watch helplessly as his rival did as he pleased to him. There was no way out for him now.

OOC: If you do not refrain from using Mvass, you will be banned as well. His character is out of the game and may not be used. Many members have suspicions that you are Mvass on a different computer.
Seeing Deimos knocked over onto the ground, RSF seizes this opportunity with a few throwing daggers aimed at his chest. Although not perfectly accurate, they certainly did major damage leaving Deimos unconscious. Now to deal with Mvassilev. RSF pulls out the pendant he received when the Fire Lord was banished.
Mvass: "No. Damn you RSF! You weren't supposed to be here! You and your damn pendant."
The Fire Lord soon shrinks down to a dim glow. A few officers from the Bureau of Equal Mights walk through a dimension door.
Officer of Equal Mights: "Thank you for your help RSF. We commend you. There will be no more instances of Mvass from now on. He will be permenantly extinguished immediately when we return him to the prison."
With Deimos out of the way, RSF is able to more comfortably seek out the diamond. He explores through several more of the interior chambers of the Chaos Fort. After a few minutes of careful inspection of each room, he enters the bedroom of the gnome. The smell of the man knocks him back. He enters the room holding his nose closed and finds the man snoring. How could this man possibly sleep so much? And after all the commotion that has been going on just a few rooms over? It is lucky for him he is asleep, because he would likely be lost in the elaborate illusions that he can set. A few a careful inspection of that room, he enters the next room with a sigh of relief and several deep breaths to purge himself of the horrible air quality of the previous room. Unfortunately, he finds himself back where he started, the Infirmary. It seems his search for the diamond was not good enough. He goes to find the body of Shadowcaster only to find no one there. He forgot that Wolfman was still here. All this time Wolfman had not shown up. And the last time the two of them met, it ended with him dropping a hard cover copy of War and Peace over his head. Out of all the people in the Chaos Fort Wolfman was certainly the one he feared the most. Deimos had the most brute force of them all. Shadowcaster was the most cunning, but as of late has been blinded by his vengeance. The Gnome was a big problem as well, but he was a mere illusionist. He could disorientate RSF, but certainly couldn't do many things to badly hurt him. Then there was Wolfman. He was almost as strong as Deimos. Not as cunning as Shadowcaster, but still very clever. He could disorient RSF maybe not as much as Consis, but he was certainly proficient with his earth magic. Overall Wolfman was the most dangerous with which to deal. He couldn't out smart him like he could Deimos. He couldn't overwhelm him with brute force either. He didn't really have any weaknesses to exploit. But where was he? A hand grabbed RSF by the legs. He looked down to see a couple stone hands come up out of the ground grabbing at him.

The ground beneath the time mage buckled beneath him, and he was slowly dragged down into the earth. RSF struggled to regain his footing, but on this shaky terrain that was controlled by his enemy, his struggles proved in vain. He shouted for his dead comrade's help, and the ghost soon appeared to disorient the earth mage. Wolfman clutched his ears as the sound rose in volume, and was soon paralyzed, much like Shadowcaster had been just moments before. But he wouldn't be brought down so easily.
Wolfman disappeared into the ground, leaving the ghost above ground. RSF looked frantically at his partner as he escaped from the rubble that had ensnared him and realized that Wolfman could not be followed underground, not even by a ghost. He paced the room searching for the diamond, dashing for the door when the search had proven fruitless. He would not escape so easily, though.
The entrance to the room crumbled and left only a small opening in the rubble, an opening too small for even the slender time mage to squeeze through. Wolfman emerged from beneath the earth and pulled out some daggers of his own that had been given to him by his fallen comrade. The ghost began his work again, but soon found that he was rendered useless due to a stone helmet worn by the earth mage that effectively drowned out all sound, no doubt collected while he was underground. RSF could not react before a large gash in his back left him motionless on the floor. But he was not dead.
Weary and slowed to a crawl, the time mage was unable to speed time as before, but he could still fight. Wolfman approached RSF from behind as he kneeled on the ground, and as the time mage swung around to counter him, Wolfman's outstretched dagger dug deeply into his arm. The shattered time mage fell to the floor, spirit and body both broken.
Wolfman approached and grabbed RSF by the hair, both glaring vehemently at the other, and raised his knife one last time. "This is for Shadowcaster." Then he stopped, and unwary of his friend's condition, put away his daggers and approached the door, believing that the shadow mage would want to finish his rival off himself. He rid the doorway of its congestion and began constructing a new entrance.
He was done for within a few seconds. As his eyes glazed over, Wolfman looked back at his assailant with a blank stare and fell to his knees. The time mage had backstabbed him, just as Shadow had done so many years ago to Sheila, but this time, no one was around to stop the crime. He slid the dagger slowly upward until it reached the earth mage's heart and sliced it in two. Heartbroken, Wolfman slid to the ground, using his final breath to utter one last, silent apology to his friend before his eyes closed forever and he breathed his last. The casualty had been repaid.
