In the fight with the Unholy One pre-crash, he stole the Ruby and swallowed it. Then Vadskye mysteriously disappeared during the fight with Shadowcaster.
RSF time-trapped the Unholy and commandeered our assistance. Using both mine and RSF's crystal, the Unholy One was temporarily paralyzed which allowed Deimos to tear the crystal out of him with his claws, and since he wasn't a mage he gave it to you to use, then the Unholy One was snatched up by Gorman and here we are.

IM me if you want me to edit, or if we should both edit our posts to smooth it out.

OOC: Okay the ring does not exist. It was a made up lie by RSF so Gorman wouldn't go off taking everything in sight. However the various artifacts are protected by guardians left by the Gemkeepers many generations ago. The library is guarded as well.
As for the pendant, RSF only knows that it will grant power to control the Forsaken Ones. What he doesn't know is that anyone who wields it will be possessed and die. Their body will mutate into an abomination. They will become the physical embodiment of the Creator of the Forsaken Ones. Centuries ago, when the Forsaken Ones made their first reign of Terror it was a young boy who found the pendant and buried in the sand along the ocean shore, however the mages who defeated the Forsaken Ones did not understand this. After they killed the boy, they only found a pendant lying on the ground along with a skeleton looking much like a little boy. Not willing to take any chances they sealed it away. They only knew it had something to do with the Creator of the Forsaken Ones.

Yes well I did read the post. You don't like this idea I take it. I'm just tired of my character and wanted a change. I would be MotherDeep. (That's the name right?) Actually I had been thinking about a creator of the Forsaken Ones for over a month now. This is just my final application of the idea. Besides the two ideas don't contradict each other. The pendant just turns you into the PHYSICAL embodiment of the Creator of the Forsaken Ones.

Wisea** It's Motherdark!
And who said I didn't like the idea?
I just told you to look @ my thread so you would get the history right.
I think it's a cool idea.
@ 2Xtreme - the 4 horsemen weren't trapped in stone statues in your mausoleum. They were contained in the master emerald.
And only the pendant can summon them, not you tapping a statue and saying:
'wakey-wakey'

But everybody else has been saying that the Forsaken ones are trapped in the master emerald, not in a hole in the ground with some statues.
Then you and Gorman were going to resurrect them using his archangel powers.
Now you're doing it on your own.
Make up your mind.
I don't have a problem with the other Forsaken Ones getting free, specially the 4 horsemen (cos it ties in with my character in your own thread: The End)
But if we're setting it up that they're released by RSF's pendant, it's a bit of an anti-climax to have you knock on a few statues and - hey presto.
I mean, you could have done that from the start, but you didn't.
PS: I thought you said you found an evil artifact, the claw thingies, not buried Forsaken Ones.
PPS: I wonder what shadowcaster & Lith are doing.
PPPS: DS returns!

Well I had planned on letting Lith post, seeing as how his character is leading the way, but I haven't seen him around at all. Guess he lost interest after the crash. I do plan on posting, but not until this confusion is cleared up, because it involves that confusion indirectly. I'll keep my mouth shut for now.
(The awakening of the horsemen does put a damper on my plans, though.)

Actually, 2Xtreme we aren't telling you what to do, we just want consistancy in the storyline.
I personally take a different arguement here, because the end result of you summoning them will be the same whether I do it or you do it. My problem is that the energy of the gems when placed into the altar would not have returned to the Unholy One, but gone to the Master Emerald.
