How did he get out anyway? Any ideas?

The unholy One saw as each of his brothers and sisters fell at the hands of the mages and sought to correct this. As the mages surrounded his mausoleum base he gathered up all of the shadow magic within him and charged. The mages used their crystals in unison to capture the beast. What they didn't know though was by him charging full force at the mages he was able to keep enough of himself together in order to finish his plan. As the weapons were carried down to the Emerald Chamber, The Unholy One was scheming. He had used his magic to cling to the Land's Opal thereby making him the only Forsaken One to not be sealed away.
Now thousands of years have passed and when RSF unknowingly activated the crystal he released the power of the Unholy One. He rose once again in his mausolium base where he had been defeated all those yyears ago...

Well, you can still be evil.
I would like to introduce another Forsaken One. As Dean said before, those 13 were the known ones. Other 'lesser' Forsaken One's existed and were sealed away as well.
The One I am introducing is called Ifritni. He embodies the darker side of fire magic and often kept to himself. He often moved too fast to be seen but when he rested, his physical apearance was that of a red lion. He stood upright like a man. He also had long horns like a goat. His eyes were a glossy black that reflected the inner soul of anyone to look at him. He rarely spoke but when he did, his voice rang out like an echo...but his mouth never moved.
What do you guys think?

I think it's cool, but the important thing to remember is that he won't be as powerful as the big 13.
When planning this for the Forsaken War thread, I had thought how I would explain only the big 13 being sealed in the master emerald.
Here's what I thought:
Because they weren't as powerful, they were sealed up in 'lesser' prisons, such as magic lamps or sarcophagi, or even smaller version of the master Emerald.
The big 13 were able to break out of these things easily, and so the master Emerald was created to hold them, and is the most powerful magic prison known to man.
Maybe he could come from a magic lamp, that we think will hold a helpful genie, and instead get an insane Efreet/Lion/Menace.

I'm going to have two PCs going after this post. Any objections? RSF and Motherdark are going to separate and I'll be using both sets of perspectives in my posts.

I have no objections RSF.
And 2X - make an opening, you effectively have yourself and the 4 horsemen as NPC's to get on with stuff. Why aren't you terrorising people?
Also - I think that we should split up at some point on individual tasks - maybe to find the weapons that go with the crystals. I think it'll stop people feeling left out - as 2X is.

RSF: That makes sense. Go ahead.
2X: I feel for ya. Maybe Motherdark and the Unholy One can meet up or something? Because you don't get any cues acting alone.

Well I remember MM saying this a long time ago, that finding your way getting involved in the plot, adding to it makes yourself more interested and gets rid of the writer's block. A sense of direction and purpose always helps that.

At 2X: You need to get back your attitude of evil. Who ever heard of a master of darkness trying to make an allience? Your character, as I said before, seemed to be more of a kill first, kill the survivors second, and maybe if he wasn't to busy killing he might ask some questions...then kill some more.
At Dean: Ehhhh, I don't know about the lesser prisons thing. I agree they should be less powerful but I can't see the mages scrambleing around trying to find prisons to hold all of these things. My reason for the Master Emerald was that it was indeed the ultimate magic prison. It was solely created for the purpose of containing and sealing away all of the Forsaken One's. It's endless chambers were created with enough space to lock away the darkness contained in the crystals and their weapons. The reason for this was the obvious corruption the mages were enduring from holding on to these things. Later, that's why they inniciated the Gaurdian's Core. These people had the very important task of gaurding the very keys to unlocking the prison holding enough evil to drown the whole world into darkness. The big 13 were the older and more powerful of the Forsaken Ones, that is why they went down in history and why we know only of them. Our meeting with some of these Lessers will spark the sudden knowledge that we have more up against us than we thought before. This should give the story more depth. Yes, I think at some point we should split up into groups inorder to find all of the weapons. My guess is probably just two groups. We'll need to find a way to locate them though since Vadskye has the only locater orb.
At RSF: Good idea. What will RSF's role be though from here on out. Motherdark seems to be 10 times as evil as all her children. Will she enslave RSF making him tag along and be her lackey? Seems the most likely. All the while you could be ploting her demise and figuring out a way to re-gain control.

Or will he be given Alivia's choice? To become a Forsaken One himself?
@ MM. Okay - I see your oint and bow to it.
@ Everyone else - I'm not being deliberately insulting in my last LHW post. I'm halfway under the influence of the Betrayer, though no-one knows it yet. So is Deimos.
