I guess that could work. But what your saying RSF is that basically we don't do anything anymore. The task to save the day is now up to you entirly because you will be the only one who is able to kill them off. What should we do? Our group is still under the impression that we have to re-capture the beasts. Soooo, what. Our whole quest to find these weapons is completly useless?
I'd like to know for future posting.

I think what he means is that his crystal will strip the Forsakens of their immortality, rendering them vulnerable to the other crystals. That way we can kill them instead of simply trapping them again.

Not true. You are still able to trap them... however in order to completely kill them you need the fifth crystal.

ooh ooh ooh, That just gave me an idea to really make it work out and be all cool and stuff. Ok, we capture them right. After we deposit them into the Master Emerald it becomes clear that if it's already happened once than what's preventing it from happening again? RSF breaks in. He has completed the legendary Time Crystal (I'm sure we can come up with a better name). With it we can remove the Master Emerald from this plane of existence. All we have to do is forge a new place to insert this new crystal. Once inserted, the Crystal will open a rip in Space/Time making the Master Emerald vanish to...somwhere else...or somtime else...I don't know. All that remains is the base. In Order to prevent the Master Emerald from coming back, the Time Crystal goes with it. This will make sure the Forsaken One's are delaeted from existence for all time. Now, what on earth we'll do with the other crystals I don't know. I guess that means there's no need for gaurdians any more. Maybe, if you don't like the idea of the Master Emerald disapearing the Time Crystal could be inserted and then kill off everything inside leaving an empty emerald. You guys figure it out. I'll just read what you guys are doing and go from there.

A Small Suggestion
RedSoxFan3,
I've thought about what you're trying to do my friend. Granted it isn't me playing the character but I usually like to make sure my characters are as believable as they can be. So here's what I had in mind:
~ The two types of magic that you will be attempting to use with much greater than normal proficiency cannot and should not be done by one character. If there's a player out there who can....we call him uber-jerk and he usually ends up in the void if I was DM'ing.
~ To offset the unbalance of such powerful schools trying to be combined, my suggestion is sort of a recipe for detail.
First of all (I think) you must choose which school to spend all of your time mastering in. Time or Illusion but not both. The difficulty of the spells you will be attempting will require the skills of a specialist. So go to school for only one type of magic.
Second (I think) You will need a very powerful artifact to make up for your shortcomings as you have chosen to master a single school. The artifact in question can be whatever you want but it must be so powerful that it has a one-time use only and is very likely to have its own intelligence. What we are talking about here, is an artifact that you'll most likely need to trick into helping you and then the entire group will be needed to destroy it shortly after it finds out you tricked it.
Third, (I think) performing Say-'ences(contact the dead) can be a cool way to get good helpful hints from your ancient ancestor whose spirit might still be with you. Ofcourse, somebody in your group could piss off the gypsy and in turn face the wrath of some other-worldly planar demon to which she was enslaved and thereby fighting for your lives to simply stay alive and......RUN AWAY!
Those are my suggestions...interprit them as you will.

I was thinking that after the Forsaken War is over, the lot of us could go back with MightyMage to his land. Upon returning, we find several leaders of the Order to have gone mad. This disease of insanity seems to be cropping up everywhere.
Edit: 2Xtreme, Deimos. I've been using those NPCs for quite some time now. Can you ask next time before you just take off with them? It's really annoying. How would you like it if I just got the Horsemen to just take off on you?
