Ok, after seeing both Dean's and Gormans questions about the forest I couldn't help but think, "didn't I post information about the forest"

The Shroomerish Forest like most in this region is inky dark and hardly able to navigate through. However, one significant thing makes it different from all the others. The flora that lines the forest floor seems to all have a life of its own. Many travelers have said that they have even seen it move. It is for certain that the plants do in fact give off a glow at night and during the day the large fuzzy mushrooms shoot out a puffy blast that can render somone paralized or even poisened depending on which species it is.
The animals that live there are few and unknown. Some say they have evolved to better adapt themselves to the enviroment. The dangers are many and the choices are few. To find the Wind Crystal and it's partner weapon the Staff of the Clouds we must travel through this deadly forest. Are YOU up to it?
Guess I did. The fact that the mushrooms can poison you should be scary enough not to mention the unknown creatures that lurk. You can barely navigate through the inky darkness and you have these things to worry about. Oh, did I mention that the Forsaken One's are on our tail? Yeah. As far as the Staff goes I made that easy so you can use your imgination. Think about it. How could finding somthing like that really be that easy. Have I ever made a quest that easy?

Seriously, Shadowcaster. You are such a great writer. This is going to turn out so incredible. I have to nominate Shadow for a QP on that last post!!!!!!!!!
Edit - I'm wondering how Asmodean will respond to the Motherdark and their maintained connection.

I have left my post in a bit of a cliff-hanger, but the reason that everyone is staring at me in pure terror is because I have morphed into......A red dragon!
That's right folks, a big bloody red dragon (fulfilling Mother Bismanck's prophecy where she didn't see me, but a big dragon and 'blackness' - planning - you can't beat it  ). as Motherdark comes closer the bond I have with her is causing me to 'mirror' her in some ways.
And like RSF I will be able to 'listen in' on her telepathic converstions, but where RSF here's her speaking and the answers, I can only hear the answers.

RSF: "Please go on without me."
Woockardo: "Stupid brats. Let's get going already! How many decades do you need to set your priorities straight?"
Woockardo grumbled.
Woockardo: "Where's that Wossname Forest?"
RSF: "The Shroomerish Forest is that way."
RSF pointed in the direction of a road and Woockardo impatiently hopped on Cane and took off like a bolt.
RSF: "I told you to go without me, now look what happened."
RSF leaned on his staff to help himself up and headed for the city. He looked back at Dingo and Isildur who were staring off into space as though they were in shock, hypnotized almost. Without looking at RSF, they mounted their Dark Riders rather mechanically and headed off into the distance.
RSF was actually surprised that Dingo would leave with so little convincing, especially with their reactions being so shocked and. Had he not been so glad that he would get to confront his old friend and rival alone, he'd most certainly have felt a bit abandoned.
RSF looked off towards the shadow once again, his friend was certainly in a hurry already closing in on one of the city gates. He must be headed for the crypt, but what would Shadowcaster do there? RSF was not sure. Maybe he heard what had happened and went to investigate. Whatever his business was, RSF was sure of one thing; he wanted to reconcile, to heal the wounds that tore them apart.
He entered through the city gates and saw the bright beams of light. He had been here once before, when he had taken the Pendant and left the city. This time he was not possessed by the Motherdark and the light gave him a slight feeling of revitalization and euphoria. RSF hurried to the beginning of the long ascent to the top of the city. The roads and staircases were maze like. Numerous times, RSF would have to double back finding himself at dead-ends. The city was still empty, silent, other than the soft bell-like sounds coming from the beams of light and RSF wished there was someone he could ask for directions. It took him several minutes to find his way to the top. He had remembered a quick ascent to the top of the city, there being one large staircase that went straight down to the city limits, so RSF made his way to the other side of town and found the staircase he had remembered. Shadowcaster must have taken this road which meant that Shadowcaster must already be up there investigating.
RSF took a deep breathe and sprinted up the stairway, taking three steps in a single bound. He reached the entrance to the crypt. From this angle it looked like he was entering the home of an emperor. Perhaps at one point it was, but to RSF it was the place where he could find Shadowcaster. He ran into the tomb and found himself standing in front of Shadowcaster, a sight RSF had been waiting for every moment since Motherdark shed him from her body. He knew this moment would come. It was different than he had imagined it, but that did not matter to the time mage. He did not hesitate a single moment in calling out to Shadowcaster.
RSF: “Shadow. It has been far too long a time, since we last met.”
The shadow mage turned startled, with a dark piercing look, most certainly not the response RSF had wanted, but alas, it was the only one he expected.

Nasty stuff, that's happened to me a few times as well and it REALLY pisses you off.
Quicktip #1 - Write posts in Word
Quicktip #2 - If you don't write posts in word, when you're finished typing press CTRL+A, then CTRL+C before you hit the post button. Then if you lose the post you can CTRL+V it back easily.
