Ghosts
Take a look at the following link please
msnbc.msn.com/id/3760119/
It's a link to what has been reported as a possible ghost sighting. Now here's my take on the thing I don't think this is a ghost, but I believe in them. The reason I don't think it is one is down to what I believe a ghost to be.
I believe that in some way at times of great emotional stress (usually at death) or other events that in certain circumstances a kind of recording can be made of the events happening, something that is like a tape recording in a way. This recording is played back every so often and produces the effects we know as Ghosts. This is seen through the visitation of the ghost being the same for different viewers down through history, such as roman soldiers being seen marching down an old roman road to battle and so on.
Which is why I find this event above unlikely to be a sighting. These recordings usually pay no attention to the passage of time, ie a ghost may appear, cross a room and walk through a wall. Why? Because when the ghost lived in that house, a door stood there that has been since been closed up. Now if you look for a moment at the image, the "ghost" seems to be in the last acts of opening the door, a hand on either. Also it is a firedoor, an entirely new addition to an old building. Whilst it's possible a door has long stood there, it would not have been of that type.
Hence I believe the image to be a fake, probably a hoax. Another part of this is that a recent report (http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_258288.html ) stated that it could explain away ghost rumours. The building is a big tourist attraction, reports such as this could damage it's reputation, ghost images could stregnthen it.
So... thoughts? Anyone like to say their own interpretation on ghost sightings? Do you believe they're all fake, or believe in ghosts?

This isn't that thing where you look at the picture and then a face appears suddenly and scares you half to death is it? I'll wait for other people to look at this first.

Suit yourself, or you could look at this picture:
And since that's the image in the article, judge for yourself. I was hoping for a serious debate actually, not to mess about...

Oh, no that is not the picture I was expecting.
I don't think that looks very ghostly. It does look like a guy I wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley at night, though. He's pretty big, looks like an older guy too.
Maybe if I go to London, I'll just steer clear oif the Tudor castle.

Yeah I hate it when people do that. First time somebody did that to me I jumped out of my seat.
