I will make my post in the main thread to set the stage as far as plot is concerned. Then I will return here and explain what happened if anyone has questions.
From here on out, the thread will operate more like Tanaran in the fact that each person will receive their own mini-update.

By choosing one of the rusty weapons? But you didn't tell me what they were. Or was it by stabbing you right there? Either way, I'm not mad about loosing.

Well actually you should have tested the weapons out yourself to make sure of their durability. But yes, the weapons on the floor would have worked fine.

Yeah sure. No problem. So you are confused. I revamped the thread. I was really a mage/cleric in disguise all this time. And I took the item in Vadskye's backyard and gained great magical power. Now I have spared your lifes and decided to play with you for a while. Perhaps if I find you useful I might coherse you into doing work for me or perhaps you will simply rot there for a while. Maybe you will find out a way to escape. Either way you choose what to do. Right now I'm sending you through trials. They are like riddles or puzzles.

Cool as.
Okay my characters name is Asmo.
He is a cleric for an evil goddess, Whose Name Can Not Be Spoken.
He is human with raven black hair and all blue eyes (think Dune)
He is the last acolyte left standing when a mage appeared, trying to recruit the sevices of his order. When the high priest refused, the mage had his goblins slaughter the entire temple.
His powers:
Death Touch - can kill a living creature with one touch, but takes time to recharge physically and mentally.
Hysteria - can cause blind panic in an enemy, making them freeze in fear or turn and run.
Cure - can heal light wounds and most poisons
Summon Demon - can summon demons in service to his goddess to fight with him.
He carries the Black Mace, an artifact from his temple, which can sometimes blind an opponent.
As far as my temperament goes if someone wants to write me into a scene - Sullen, quick tongued, spiteful and a touch insane - a little bit intimidating.

Ya, that's originally why I joined-I knew the Baldur's Gate combat system, and besides, I knew that RSF was good at modding. Maybe after this section is done, we can go back to the way it was before?

Do you realize how long it took for that Spider? No one seemed interested at all. I think we should keep things simpler with combats determined in one or two posts max. The only was to do this is by doing it Tanaran Style.
Asmodean. Right now everyone is pretty weak. So choose less abilities and weaker ones.

As you see, I haven't been posting lately.
I was busy these days, and probably in the next ones too.
Since there is a new player(Asmo), I think there won't be a problem if I leave the game. Maybe I can return later, but I am not certain.
About the change, I prefer much more the older system. Maybe the battles could be faster like the Create your own D&D...
I don't like this new system, giving too much power for the players(even more to those who can post more often). I think players should be able to decide only his actions and of some members of the party. In some cases, control NPCs or events, but almost every event should be controled by the GM. It is slow, but I think it is much better. Only a opinion, though.
