The woman consents to sex and the possibility of pregnancy. While it makes sense to force the man to pay for the upkeep of the child once it's born, she is as responsible for the pregnancy itself as the man is, so it doesn't make sense to force him to pay for that part.
I'm pro-choice, but I don't like bad pro-choice arguments.

Keep in mind that this is a point only when abortion is supposed to be strictly forbidden.
In this case you must motivate the men to make sure AS WELL nothing happens.
However, this is a moot debate anyway. Abortion is forbidden in countries with low education level and strict religion - say. Mexico. Situation for people isn't really that great anyway.

the only contraception i know of are male and female condoms, the pill and the shot(and possibly a patch?). and of course, pulling out like you aren't an utter retard.
don't get me wrong, i think abortion is only acceptable as a final option. every attempt should be made to NOT PROCREATE IN THE FIRST PLACE. have sex, sure. just don't spray your stuff inside her, unless you want a child.
my cousin's old girlfriend told him that she took the pill, when she didn't because "she wanted to get pregnant so that he would stay with her"(her words, afterward). he had to pay $400 for an abortion, because she lied about taking the pill. and i've heard this story before. this isn't the ONLY time i've heard of a girl lying about taking contraception, in order to get pregnant.
GUYS: ALWAYS PULL OUT IF YOU EITHER DON'T WANT A KID, OR TO HAVE TO ABORT A KID. it's really snowing simple.
if you feel the need to blast inside her because of passion or whatever, then blast in her ass. can't get pregnant that way. gay men have been proving this for centuries, people.

@Fredmuffin: another option other than pulling out is to take it in the anus. simple.
Also I exaggerated the number of contraceptics since I'm a cynical snow.

i wasn't sure if there were any more kinds of contraception. i'm sure there's more than one pill, there's probably more than one patch/shot, and we all know there are plenty of male/female condoms. i only mentioned what i knew, in case someone else knew more.

Well, keep in mind, in modern times we have "teenagers" who are sexually (biologically) adults but mentally children. It's a new sociological phenomenon. People mostly used to marry when they were around 14-16 and they were traditionally expected to have as many children as they can.
Not all of those high-school love bugs will (be able to) act responsibly, when you consider the hormones boiling like chicken soup and the curiosity running wild.
It's common sense that abortion is the final solution. But have you ever heard a woman go:
- Nevermind the condom and screw the pill, if you knock me up, I'll go to the clinic and have them scratch out my uterus, it's no big deal.
No.
Unexpected things can and do happen. Acting responsibly is the ideal thing to do for both partners but if that fails, not having an abortion is certainly not the ideal alternative, if they don't want to have a child.

Pulling out is no guarantee. The risk is still huge with this method.

It's not a safe contraception. You may just have been "lucky". Funny thing is that it's possible to make multiple women pregnant simultaneously this way.

did some quick reading-up on the subject, and now i remember why i always piss after ejaculating:
Quote: So can you get pregnant from pre-ejaculatory fluid (pre-cum)? Well...... as this fluid does not contain sperm it can't by itself cause a pregnancy. However as the purpose of this fluid is to flush out the penis it will bring any sperm left in the penis from the last ejaculation to the tip of the penis. If this happens that small amount of sperm could cause a pregnancy.
If the man has urinated since his last ejaculation the urine would have flushed out and killed any left over sperm in the penis which means in this case a pregnancy wouldn't happen.
ALWAYS PISS AFTER EJACULATION, GUYS. just read a bunch of statements where women got pregnant(and have had kids), from guys who DIDN'T piss after ejaculation.

Look guys, it's extremely easy.
If you are against abortion: before you have sex, ask the girl, "If you get pregnant, even though we both use a gazillion of contraceptives, will you keep the child or will you abort it?"
If the girl says, "I will abort it" - JUST GO! LEAVE HER! Result: no abortion, even if abortion is allowed. Never. Ever.
If you want something done right, don't leave it to others.
Case closed.

There is 0.1 % chance of getting pregnant if you use the pill correctly. So that leaves open for enjoying your fornication session and worry about almost nothing.

Well, all fun is conditioned also by doing compromises. Eating, fornicating, playing video games, etc. There can be nasty consequences from anything if you don't take a few precautions.
Thanks god we don't live in Africa so we have access to a lot of cheap tools keeping us safe from common abuses. No need to become Savonarola neither.
