Hmmm, not bad.. lol@the Mink 
The suggestions I would make are
- maybe give the Mink a pint of ale, something to fit with the "Tavern" theme a bit more
- the text i think shouldn't have the month in it maybe? else it will have to be changed every month, its easier to have one image that stays permanent IMO.
On an aside to that I am giving Daddy a QP - not only for his work on the banner but for being such a positive poster around here lately. Not only does he post frequently and always in a kind way - but lately he has also been helping new members AND has really gone out of his way to offer his services in any way he can.
I know that this kinda thing is likely what should be brought up for PoTM lol but I just wanted to say that I appreciated all he's been doing lately
About the modding... I agree that we should keep it light in tavern, and I believe the three of us do  Regardless of what guidelines some members may think we should follow, I think it should be remembered that we are 3 different people and will have our own ways of doing things too. So long as we follow the guidelines set out for us by Valeriy I think we'll be just fine
I'm really happy with my two partner Mods, as I find them both to be very intellegent as well as very witty -two great tavern qualities! If i could give them stars I would, but they'll have to settle for a donut back at HQ i guess 
I am quite like Asmo in that I have been going through a lot of the old threads , cleaning, moving and occaisionally bumping.
I will admit tho, that i don't log my actions in the tavern... *runs away before Asmodean can beat me up *

I must admit that the Tavern mods have done well so far. What i posted was just something for mods to read when they didnt know how to act. Nice work daddy but what is the mink?

The Mink is a small animal that lives in forests or near lakes. Minks gather in rather small social groups with clear destributions of the tasks and work to be done for the community. They are unlikely to fight and live in peace with their neighbours, but when it comes that they are threatened, they do not hesitate to arm and fight the intruders.

Alright. I moved one of my threads from Glade into Tavern to see if anyone might take a look at it, since most people never read Glade. I guess I just want to know if I'm wasting my time and should move it back into Glade forever or if people actually are reading it now that it's here. I'm currently working with Korejora to illustrate the thread in hopes that some illustrations may catch some more interest in the thread.

I just wanted to say that I noticed something peculiar about the thread ratings in Tavern. Like the Tavern Sticky thread is Unrelated???
And voting for the Pixelart GM is roleplay???

That looks like the work of the Thread Rating Monkey. This mysterious creature runs around HC giving threads near inexplicable ratings. The process of selecting a rating seems to involve a dartboard, newsprint, some suction cups, and way too many banana daiquiris.

Hmm, quite a bit of Spam happening in this thread lately. Will need cleaned soon.

I think Caption Competition should be in the VW, considering it's a word game.
It recieved a Qp and my solution is: Lock the Original, start a new one in the VW.
Anybody agree?

It's not exactly a word game.
It's a wit game.
You're not coming up with random comments like the last letter thread, or word association. I think it belongs in Tavern and it'll stay there

I agree with Asmodean, The Caption Contest should stay in the tavern. It's a really great thread, much fun to be had by all, and not off-topic spam at all. the topic is the photo, and the comments are therefore all related.
Also, Asmodean says so, and I listen to him. He's The Man
And more news, I've been really busy lately, so not logged in as often but here everyday nonetheless In my logged in time recently I've given three QP's . One to RealDeal for his constant efforts to create quality threads and improve the community. Another to Titanium Alloy for all his pixel art and for his great attitude, and finally to Daddy for his tree drawing tutorial and for all the fabulous Minks he's done lately.
