No, monks and titans are still shooters, not spellcasters.
My guess would be the mage.
What creature first lost its spear
then its feathers,
then its existance?

When will you learn that in HoMM2 there was no such creature as monk! There was the druid and it's upgrade, greater druid, but no monks.

And the Nekclace of SOmething is called "Garniture of Interference".

Monks are very similiar to druids, why can't we name both the same? It's the same with archer & marksman. Or gargoyle & a stone gargoyle.

monk - n. member of a community of men living together under religious vows in a monastery.
Druid - n. member of the priesthood among the Celts of ancient Gaul and Britain.

Your getting boring Chicken Herder with that encyclopedia. Why can't we make communicating easy & simple!? Why must you complicate everything? And first of all If it's so true then tell me why didn't you send something to 3DO about druids living on a desert, or a multiple minotaurs out of volcano?
And the most important don't you think (I believe you do have a brain.) that 2 units shooting the same technique, walking and looking very similiary were ment to remind one about the other?

Not exactly. You see they are units from different series. And they are different. You wouldn't call all Dragons the same, no mater to thier color ?

Why would anyone think that?So what!HoMM2 rangers and HoMM3 lizardmen shoot the same way too,they walk almost the same way and are both blue,so what!

To Silx: IF you think that lizardmen are similiar to rangers, I think you should go to a theaphy of somekind.
To Sargoth: What's to learn? Did Know about CHs obssesion about names in Heroes before & didn't like it.
Yo LichKing: I would do so If there was only one dragon in one part of a game. Just like it was in H1. When played ALWAYS named dragons black? Besides you name units to distinguish them don't you? Think: When marksmen attack. What do people say? They say "Archers attacked", the same is with elves, more rarelly, but... And that's a mistake (according to your philosophy) becouse there are units named and called Archers. But I think that people in 3DO made a mistake (and that's just one drop in a sea). Or you'll going to say that elves aren't archers?
