What happened in the story to castle Kriegspire that caused all people to abandon it.

You obviously haven't played the game or forgot about it. Undead had nothing to do with it. They were not even close (the undead are in castle Darkmoor and surroundings).

The mad wizard created the minotaurs and it was partially because of the minotaurs, partially because of something else that he fled.
The jeweled egg was left there because the owner fled.
What made them flee, besides the minotaurs?
Another hint: Why is it the dream of every pottery worker to make pottery in Castle Kriegspire (or should I say, under Castle Kriegspire)?

I found my old stagedy guide for MM6. And I still don't know/remember why they left besides the minotaurs. Heres whats in the guide.
