Important! - Guidelines and Contents!
Welcome to 'Other Games Exist Too'.
This is where we talk about games other than the Heroes series (which rock).
To make life easier for all of us (in other words - Mighty Mage and myself  ), here's a few simple guidelines to follow when posting here 
1. No cheat codes! - Cheating sucks anyways. But if you have to cheat then I reccomend this site as a good source of walkthroughs etc. Don't post them here
2. No discussion of warez/cracks! - Not only is it against the Code of Conduct but it's illegal and posts will be deleted/penalties will be given 
3. Check to see if there's already a thread about the game you want to discuss! - There's no point in starting 3 or 4 threads about the one game, when it would be much more fun to have everyone discussing it in the same thread.
Which is why myself and Mighty Mage will be keeping a contents page here to help you guys out

If you make a new thread, why not add it to the contents page yourself along with a description of what you want to discuss about the game, whether it's strategy tips or just what's the coolest weapon in Doom 3 (flamethrower! flamethrower!  )
4. As recently stated in the Turban Tribunal by our Admin Val, there will be no Q.P. Hunting! E.G. No begging in posts, threads, or HCM's for Quality Points or creating useless junk threads for the sole purpose of acquiring a red star. What this refers to is a post or thread with no intention of it relating to the topic of the forum or any wish for it to grow as a good long lasting community thread but rather allow it to get a red star and then discard it. Also, in certain cases these threads would also apply to our final rule.
5. The final rule is that unnecessary SPAM will not be tolerated as stated in the CoC. If it is found than consider it fried.
On a side note, if you have any problems with this forum that you feel need to be addressed then feel free to post them here.

I am unsure if this question should be posted or even asked in this thread, so please delete if I am out of sorts...
How are we working SPOILERS in this forum? Are they allowed? If so, how are they to be annotated in the topics or posts?
My apologies for interrupting. I just do not want to violate the CoC or forum rules, or worse yet, ruin someone else's gaming experience by giving away any info. Thanks.

I don't know how the mods feel about it, but a warning with a few empty lines is probably enough.
Doing something like:

isn't really fair, because most people's eyes will not process the word *SPOILER* in time to not read the next couple words, and hence being spoiled.
When discussing games, tv shows and movies and plot points, I usually write ambiguously on purpose, but when I can't, I do something like this:

*RESTORATION OF ERATHIA CAMPAIGN SPOILERS*
Do you wish that 3DO picked a hero other than Lord Haart to be the traitor, so that his specialty of Estates could be used in AB or SOD?
This just seems more fair. People have enough space and time to stop reading if they want to.
PS Sorry if I spoiled anything for anyone. I just figured most people knew this.

Can we have this Thread moved out of this Forum, please?
I'm not sure about this one, this two or this three either .
Is there some sort of "official policy" regarding Threads that simply offer a brief description of a game and a link to a website where it can be downloaded? Especially regarding the Threads that do this and do not get any replies whatsoever?
I'd be willing to create one single Thread with all of the various games/links that have been Posted in numerous Threads throughout this Forum, but I just want to know where the Mods stand on this issue before going through all of the trouble. There would undoubtedly be many Threads that would deleted as a result of me putting such a list together, so I can understand if this idea needs to be discussed first.
I just think that it would be simpler for members to have one place to Post their favourite "little games" or to look them up! I'd even be willing to maintain any list that I created, so that it could be stickied for all to see.
A similar list already exists here: Flash games!@. And while I'm on the subject, I actually believe that this Thread belongs in the Other Games Exist Forum, and not in The Tavern. And what a coincidence that we have a Mod that takes care of both of these exact Forums too! Wow, lucky us! 
I'd love to hear some feedback on these ideas or be informed of any action that is taken or decisions that are made, please.

Leo I don't see a problem with the threads staying where they are as long as the links aren't broken.
As for collecting them in one thread, well I think you've already managed that by linking the threads in your post, and hopefully some people will try them and post their opinions.
I did move the Flash games thread though. This is it's proper home
