I was just joking about Kyrre. I'm pretty sure she is SHE, somebody probably just made a mistake in Hereos 4.

Anyway, back to the topic, I really like those new portraits, because heroes looks like a modern version of previous portraits. Very similar.
You need to adjust to the new pictures though...

Yes, but I feel some of those portraits would be more fitting with other heroes (assuming you're talking about the Russian pack). The one for Valeska looks more like it would fit for Queen Catherine, Sorsha one looks like Adrienne, Gem one looks like Cyra... and Synca is supposed to be female lol

Lol I have played homm3 for many years and have always thought that synca is male... good to know now

Hi Star_King, sorry for my late response, I have not visited Heroes III for a long time.
I'm not sure how do you use those small portraits. There are two ways to do that:
Method 1: just copy pcx files to data folder of game: "Heroes of Might and Magic III Complete\Data"
About years ago, with my old computer, this method is fine for me. But now, with the current computer (Win XP, I bought it 5 years ago), it causes the game crash too, so I have to use method 2.
Method 2: Use the tool MMArchive to open file <HEROES III FOLDER>\Data\H3bitmap.lod
And then import *.pcx files to H3bitmap.lod
It work fine for me.
Hope that my explanation is clear.

I was attempting method 1 and it crashed, and I'd rather not modify the .lod files themselves. I've already used a couple of your large portraits to create small ones myself that don't crash, though. I have no idea how you made yours so that they crash :S

These are my reimaginations of H3 heroes. For many I tried to keep them as close to the original as possible, for some others I took liberties  . Credits go to the artists from deviantART and CGHUB where I found the images (with few exceptions, Shiva and Labetha's images from H6 and Erdamon's from Dota), as I was not the creator, only collected, edited and compiled them. You should only use this pack for personal enjoyment, not commercial distribution.
